Freedom Fighters #4. This issue features an appearance by Wonder Woman, as well as a cameo by Aquaman. This comic has issues, but it is intact and readable. Notice the small tears on the spine that used to be spine creases, a large crease near the top right front corner, as well as a tear on the top edge of the back cover that has folded over. The spine has been rolled for awhile, so the pages (and cover edges) are rough and lightly chipped in spots. GD, maybe better; cream to off-white pages. $5 shipped ![]() ![]() |

Ghostly Haunts #36 & #37 (Charlton Comics). These comics contain works by Steve Ditko. Both of these horror-suspense comics would probably be about mid-grade, except for the holes punched through them near both spine corners. I know people did this in the past, but it makes me cringe. At least the comics stayed in decent condition. I am selling these as a set. GD, maybe better; off-white pages. $8 shipped (for the pair) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

G.I. Joe, A Real American Hero #19, second print. The issue features the death of General Flagg. I’m not going to bother listing the defects, or estimating a grade for this book. It’s a ‘reader’ and maybe a filler. This comic is one of only a small number that survived my brothers back in the 80's. Centerfold is detached. Since this comic is a reader, it's.... Ka-Zar #1 (1970 series). Technically, this is the 1st stand-alone comic book for Ka-Zar, even though it reprints earlier stories from X-Men #10 and Daredevil #24, which includes his and Zabu’s first appearance. This issue features appearances by the X-Men and Daredevil. The front cover shows hidden profanity on the front cover (spine), near the palm tree and above Zabu’s rump. This comic was a bit difficult for me to grade and price because the back cover is completely detached, but is included with the book. I haven't dealt with detached covers until now. Also, there were three extra staples added from outside the cover...the original staples are still there, with some rust migration. One of the three staples partially popped out, so I removed it to prevent injury or further damage to the book. There are numerous defects that can be seen in the scans, including a burn through and onto the front cover and some pages underneath (right edge). That's where a sizeable tear is located too. There is an obvious vender stamp across Ka-Zar's chest. The max grade I believe this comic would get is a 2.0. I think it's a lower grade than that, so decide for yourself. The book is complete and readable, and it's kind of unique. Any questions, or need more scan/photos, don't hesitate to message me. ![]() GD, or lower; off-white pages. $10 shipped ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Newsstand edition copy of The Legend of Wonder Woman #1, limited series. This series was done in 1950’s style artwork. There are several references to the Crisis on Infinite Earth’s storyline. This comic is in decent condition, with a mild spine roll and a small tear at the bottom that folds back (bottom edge near the UPC box). A clean/press will help here, but I think that small tear keeps it from grading much higher. FN, or better; off-white to white pages. $8 shipped ![]() ![]() |

Newsstand edition copy of Man-Thing #5 (2nd series). There's nothing special about this comic, except it's a newsstand version. The comic is intact and readable, but there is a bend and ink-breaking creasing diagonal through the book. The lower half of the front cover's right page edge shows some wear and small tears. There is a stain on the back cover, at the top left corner. A press will help a bit, but I don't see much improvement in the grade. GD, or better; off-white to white pages. $5 shipped ![]() ![]() |

Newsstand edition copy of Marvel and DC Present, Featuring The Uncanny X-Men and The New Teen Titans #1. This comic features the 1st appearance of the Source Wall, the 3rd appearance of Deathstroke The Terminator, as well as an appearance by Darkseid. GD, or better. The comic shows a number of issues and defects, but the major defect is that the center wrap is detached from the staples. The wrap underneath that is detached at the top staple and close to detaching from the bottom staple. The pages weren’t ripped out of the staples…the book is very thick (Baxter paper) and the staples weren’t done very well. I did not take scans because I don't want to cause a bigger problem. Otherwise, this is a complete comic. I have little experience with detached center wraps, but I'm aware that comics can grade differently by the powers-that-be. This wouldn't be a valuable slab in this condition, so if it actually did grade higher than my estimate... It is a newsstand though, if anyone cares. LMAO. $7 shipped ![]() ![]() |
