Charlton Bullseye #8.

This comic has some issues, but it's intact and readable. The cover is detached from the top staple, and barely hanging on at the bottom staple. It's not valuable, so...

I'll take it, and the Beyond the Grave freebie.

Just keep them in a pile if you would please. I'd like to see what else you'll be listing also.

The Destructor #1, Atlas Comics/Seaboard Periodicals. This issue features the 1st appearance, and origin, of The Destructor. This comic contains some partial pencil work by Steve Ditko.

For those of you that don’t know, Atlas/Seaboard was an independent comic publishing company that didn’t last an entire year. But folks like Steve Ditko, Wally Wood, Neal Adams, Larry Hama, and many others did some comic work for this entity. This company helped changed the industry, even though it was defunct after about six months.

The comic is structurally sound, but the scans speak for themselves. Plenty of ink wear on the front, especially along the spine, soiling and a few cleanable stains on the back cover, as well as some creases near the corners that lightly break the ink. There is a very mild spine roll as well. If cleaned and pressed, this will probably be a higher grade comic.

VG/FN, or better; off-white pages.

G.I. War Tales #2, Dinosaur cover. This comic reprints stories from Star Spangled War Stories #134, Our Fighting Forces #114, and G.I. Combat #133. Neal Adams contributed to the original stores.

The comic has some issues, but it is intact. The cover has partially detached from the top staple, there are ink-breaking corner creases, a small piece is missing near the top right corner (front), as well as some mild 'crinkling' on the back cover. There is obvious soiling on the back, along with a decent scratch in the ink below the 'hand'. It doesn't go through the paper. There is a mild spine roll too.

GD/VG, or better; cream to off-white pages (more off-white I think).

Creatures on the Loose #10, March 1971. This issue features the 1st full appearance of King Kull. Contributors to the comic include Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Bernie Wrightson, and Herb Trimpe.

This book is intact and readable, but it does have some major issues. The top right corner of the front cover is nasty...to the left is a tear that will fold back if not handled properly. The tears that are visible on the back, top edge...they go through the entire comic.

GD, no better; off-white pages.

Creatures on the Loose #33. This issue contains work by Gil Kane, John Romita, and Klaus Janson. Marvel Value Stamp #24, The Falcon, is still intact.

This one has some issues, but is intact and readable. The tape on the writing on the front cover are uncool, but it happens. There is a tear from the right edge of the front, with a small part that folds back. At that spot, the wrap underneath is torn...with a folded piece. The tear on the cover doesn't extend the same length on that inner wrap. The chunks missing out of the edge above the tear are hard to miss. The back cover isn't as bad, but there's staining and soiling you can't miss.

GD/VG, no better; cream to off-white pages.

Creepy Things #3, Charlton Comics. The cover for this issue was done by Tom Sutton, along with work by Steve Ditko.

This copy is actually missing the top staple, but I believe it's a production issue. There are no holes evident in any of the wraps to show that there was ever a staple. Also, the rough-looking top right corner is actually a weird production cut. That's the only thing I believe it could be. Nothing else major to report...the scans speak for themselves.

VF, or better; off-white to white pages.

Dennis the Menace Giant #23 (In Hollywood). This trade paperback (Summer 1964) features reprints from early Dennis the Menace cartoons and comics.

This TPB is a collection of reprints from earlier Dennis the Menace works. It is intact and very readable, but the main issues are the right spine paper at the bottom (the spine covering was pretty thin back then), the first two wraps detached from the staples (both sides), but held on by the cover, as well as the chunks missing on the back left edge. It was definitely read, but is in better than reader condition...in my opinion.

GD+, or better; tan to cream pages.

Dennis the Menace Giant #35 (Christmas Special). This trade paperback (Winter 1965) features multiple comic strips with a few reprints of Christmas cartoons.

This TPB is in better condition than the listing above. The spine is intact, but the first inside wrap has popped out of the top staple...front only. There is creasing and wear along the spine on the front from being read a lot. Everything else is evident in the scans.

VG, or better; off-white pages, with some very light tanning on the top of some pages.

Detective Comics #343. Elongated Man makes an appearance in this issue, which also contains an excerpt from a 1869 Massachusetts Board of Health document.

The comic is intact...nothing missing. This comic would benefit from a cleaning, but the book already lies pretty flat. I don't think a press will do much. The scans show pretty much everything

Thanks for your patience!! Sorry for the foul-up!! Lol.

Fantastic Four #164. This issue features the re-introduction of Marvel Boy as 'The Crusader', as well as the introduction of Frankie Raye (Nova).

I'm not going to bother giving this one a grade. There are plenty of defects, the biggest one being moisture damage. The comic is still in acceptable reading condition, but the entire book suffers from moisture damage of some sort...staining, rippling, wear, etc. I don't like throwing away comics, so...

Fightin’ Army #140, classic WWII cover. Adolf Hitler makes a cameo appearance.

This isn't a bad looking comic, until you see the back cover. Mild moisture damage aplenty, with staining. The inside wrap has some very light damage/staining from this, but only in a couple spots. The front cover has a small tear on the right page edge that does fold back if not handled properly. The bottom spine corner has a small split in the cover...about an inch in length.

GD, give or take; off-white pages.

Freedom Fighters #4. This issue features an appearance by Wonder Woman, as well as a cameo by Aquaman.

This comic has issues, but it is intact and readable. Notice the small tears on the spine that used to be spine creases, a large crease near the top right front corner, as well as a tear on the top edge of the back cover that has folded over. The spine has been rolled for awhile, so the pages (and cover edges) are rough and lightly chipped in spots.

GD, maybe better; cream to off-white pages.

Ghostly Haunts #36 & #37 (Charlton Comics). These comics contain works by Steve Ditko.

Both of these horror-suspense comics would probably be about mid-grade, except for the holes punched through them near both spine corners. I know people did this in the past, but it makes me cringe. At least the comics stayed in decent condition.

I am selling these as a set.

GD, maybe better; off-white pages.
