Type o or does this mean something?17817

Collector Kasperb991 private msg quote post Address this user
So I was reqding the grader notes in my book

"spine stress front & back cover soe breaks color with small tears at stpls and 1/4 spine split bottom spine
general wear creases, bends and soiling
1/2" tear middle top front cover
tanning interior front & back cover"

Now im not arguing about the notes or the grade as honestly i thought it would be lower than the 5.0 I got however does SOE mean anything or is it a type o for some? Just trying to learn a bit here thanks for the input

Should say "some break".
Both words are incorrect.

I've definitely made errors like that myself just by typing too fast and being in too much of a hurry to proofread. 🤣

Type O is a blood type. Typo is a typewritten mistake. This thread title is humorously ironic.

Saw that, too. Even more ironic is this particular OP getting snagged by a typo. He certainly wins the award for the most typos ever on this forum, if you view past posts. Can't go 3 words without one.

I hear ya. Auto Correct actually should be referred to as Auto Incorrect, most of the time.

Spelling, grammar, punctuation, and proof reading are so 20th century. Miss those days.

I. Hear. You. I will never forget those ridiculous and/or borderline obscene things I have accidentally sent to my mother thanks to Autocorrect.

I'm only 1 for 3 in catching your references in this thread. Supper is the new "it" word in my house. Somebody finds a reason to use it at least 6-7 times per day currently. Something like "since mom never prepares a DINNER...I guess I will just have this bag of Cheetos for my SUPPER".

Tell them that they are welcome to learn to cook and then they could fix their own dinner or supper, whichever they choose.

It could be. I think he was in Playgirl in the 90's, I heard.

Auto Correct can be stubborn. I see on the screen that it put in the wrong word, change it to what I want, and it re-changes it. Round and round we go. Sometimes I have to append the problem word onto the previous word so that Auto Correct can't figure it out, and then add a space between them. To do it right, it makes you work harder.

@chester15 On an Iphone you have the option to stick with the word you want even if auto correct doesn't like it. I think it's usually in the lower left corner in quotes.

I bet you can, but I have never owned an Apple product, never will if I can help it. Too controlling, too expensive. I'll live with the shortcomings of Android as long as it doesn't drive me insane, or maybe I should say more insane. From what I see of people using Apple stuff, the constant updates alone are enough to keep me away.

It's rare that I have the Auto Correct situation where it "insists" that it is right, so I'll just find work-arounds for now. There might even be a similar option to control that on Android, just never looked for it. I spend less time on a phone than 99.9% of phone users. I pay my $8 per month and get along ok.

The title of this thread amuses me.

To misspell "typo" and instead put "type o", it's almost kind of meta.
