I'm playing catch-up here. I just learned that CGC announced about a year ago that they were going to start grading Pulps. Today I received an email asking for help... "Dear Jack, CGC is compiling information for each Pulp that will be displayed on CGC labels. This includes things like cover artists, significant writers and stories, character appearances, classic covers, and anything else that collectors would consider relevant. If you're a collector who has a strong passion for Pulps and a solid knowledge of their contents, and you'd be interested in providing information for particular titles, please reach out to Melissa at mlee@collectiblesgroup.com." I only know of 1 person that collects them, @CatmanAmerica. I saw his archived thread from 4 years ago for Pulps and Pulp art and thought it'd be fun to start a new thread showing off the BEAUTIFUL books you may have. Are any new collectors out there? I love the painted covers! I don't collect them but, I am a fan. If any of you have some and want to share your covers, let's see them! This is not mine but it is an iconic and great cover! ![]() |

I got that upcoming Heritage email again ... I love going through the auctions for these. What a great bunch. Hard to choose which ones I'd blow up digitally to poster size and flush-mount for the wall ... |

When I was a kid, I bought numerous pulps at a flea market we went to several times a summer. I have no idea what happened to them. As an adult, I've only ever owned this one pulp. I bought it for my "execution" covers collection. I sold it a couple years later because I needed cash and having one pulp with a bunch of comics, just didn't jive with me anymore. ![]() |

I love WT and found this cover to be a bit different. Still "Weird" but more elegant than many of the earlier issues.![]() |

This WT cover looks weirder than the last. An interesting "late in the original series" issue.![]() |
