Time to put it on my wall...

I grew up as a teenager in Memphis in the early 80's and went the (no longer existing) mid-south coliseum to watch The King in Monday Night wrestling. Those were some great matches.
I have a picture somewhere of Lawler & my dad & younger sister at a local restaurant there.
He has some skills drawing too...

Thought the same thing....great sketch!!! Had no clue Lawler could draw. WOW!

This is what I got from Mike McKone. Funny story, we talked about Exiles and how I enjoyed the series, so I asked if he could draw Mimic. He said which one is that So I pointed to him on the cover, and then McKone just cranked it out. I guess when you're the artist, not the writer, and you did 10 issues 20 years ago, you forget a bit.

Original Judge Dredd vs Judge Death done by Brendan McCarthy(Spider-Man Fever, Skin, Zaucer of Zilk). Always loved Judge Dredd, and especially loved McCarthy’s art stile. So happy I was able to get this done. It was painted by Mccarthy himself and he even sent me him rough sketches before he drew and painted the sketch cover.

I just purchased these 99.9% Lobo-less Lobo pages from Val Semeiks.
Semeiks and John Dell are a fantastic art team.

I recently posted (on page 4) a Lobo vs Wolverine commission by Val Semeiks, but as great as it is, I kind of regretted not having John Dell ink it. Luckily, Val provided high-res scans of his pencils before he inked them, so I asked John if he'd be able to ink them from a blueline printout of those scans, and he did. His knowledge of line-weight added a great deal of depth to the piece.

@Siggy nice piece.

If you wanted to still get it colored, contact Steve Lydic. He's certainly one of the best out there and has great interaction with his fans on his facebook.

My most recent sketch cover - Spider-Laird by Rob Retiano. Mid-1700s Scottish Spider-Man, who wields a sword and a web-shooting flintlock pistol while fighting Redcoats who stole a goat... this man is now in my top 5 Spider-Verse characters.

@DrWatson It's definitely my favorite sketch cover in my collection so far. Quite reasonably priced, and super quick turn-around as well. I have another commission in progress from a different artist - a Secret Wars 8 homage with Miles Morales on an Ultimate Invasion 1 blank.

Just got all of these back from HeroesCon. All of them are amazing, but the Boba Fett is probably my favourite. Chewbacca is a close second.

A few years ago I purchased a SDCC '86 Jam Piece from Anthony Snyder's site. Most of the names I've been able to figure out, but a few elude me. The characters look familiar, but I can't figure the name.

I recently bought a 1986 SDCC program, hoping I'd be able to glean the pages for clues. So far, it's only helped with two (Jim Valentino and Don Chin).

Do any of these (hard to see) sigs or characters look familiar to you? Clearly one of them is Howard the Duck, but I just can't figure that sig.

The second one is clearly an angry Man in the Yellow Hat (from Curious George) drawn by Penis.

The second one looks like Dick Tracy. Instead of a P, I think that might be part of his lapel. So, maybe Ellis?

That actually crossed my mind. For a split second.

I see what you're seeing, but it's not a great image. It's definitely part of the sig. It looks like there is a smaller, "quicker" "n" after the obvious one, and it would appear an "i" was added after the last letter, which appears to be an "s". This makes me think it's "Dennis".
The sketch is almost a distraction because it does seem to be Dick Tracy, or even the Shadow dressed as the Man in the Big Yellow Hat.

It might be a longshot, but maybe a GCD search will show something.
