not often you see an official drawing featuring both a marvel and dc character. but cool. I am debating do I get all attendees to sign it or just him (or anyone there who worked on thor and the new gods) | ||

I consider this my vacation every year. would normally bring $120 for the weekend ($40 each day)...sometimes more if I know in advance will need it. This year will be around $220 with same budget per day ($20 a day for old cheap issues, $20 for newer, $20 for collectables and $20 for whatever) but will be submitting 3 comics to cbcs (ikely first thing I do to get it out of the way) |

One of these days I am going to attend another con. I actually haven’t been to a comic related con since Michael Golden signed my Marvel Fanfare when it was published. Been wanting to go to one for 4 years. But, my schedule almost always conflicts. Crazy thing is, both the cons out here in SoCal that I was going to got in 2020 & 2021 got canceled. One day… |

just got back from day 2. Bought (and got some for free) 35 comics. a lot of somewhat recent issues Ive been needing to buy (and in dollar bins) but best buy was paid $20 for a poster of Rogue signed by Michael Golden (co-creator) which in turn got me a raffel ticket to win a another poster...sure enough first raffle of the day....won. chose a poster of Black Krrsantan (star wars) I could go to chris claremount to sign Rogue poster as well but already spent my "if I have to pay for a signature" budget. he has gone to the convention before...so hopefully next time |

back. got around 30 comics today (mostly random) but oh boy. pulled the trigger on spending what I think was a steal. As mentioned I was going to look for Infinite Crisis #3 (first appearance of Jamie Reyes). found a seller who had it for $20 but he advised me to try and get #5 instead (his first appearance as Blue Beetle). He had #3 but not #5. I said I might come back for #3 if I cant find #5. ended up buying a combo pack with all 7 issues (and conclusion issue) for $25 which came with Jim Lee cover for #5 which is the sought after as it has Blue Beetle front and center. I think that was a huge bargain (seller was asking $30. Offered $20...he countered with $25. agreed) I felt I had to as with the movie in pre-production. Now is the time to invest in issue But got weekend: 97 comics 2 mangas several autographs signed poster of rogue by her co-creator (which won a raffle from him for another poster) lightning collection Blue Psycho Power Ranger figure went to 3 panals (Skottie Young & Hickman panal, panal on famous movie/tv cars and their merchandising and the spiderman panal |
