Six From Sirius 1&2 is an awesome read.

Doug Moench and Paul Gulacy.

@Pre_Coder Well, it hasn't sold.... so I'll pull it out and give it a read. Ive always enjoyed work from both Moench and Gulacy. One of my favorites.

@BigRedOne have you read the Six From Sirius sets yet?

SFS2 is the sequel to SFS1. If you don't read set 1 first, then 2 will seem rather weak. Although, 2 was weak, regardless.

I do not have the 1st series, but I did pull out the series 2 and did enjoy it. Like you said series one likely would have given me more of the back story. 1st issue does have brief recap.

Got the rest of the Joe books listed today

50th Issues are always a cool milestone for any title

Another popular issue featuring the 25th Anniversary themed cover that ran through all the Major Marvel titles back in 1986

Flint was always a cool character and one of my favorite Joe's

Another Great Flint cover by Mike Zeck

I believe Todd McFarlane's 1st and only work on the title

And let's end with a couple more all-time great Mike Zeck Covers!

Working on getting some cool Eighties Indies up next

OK guys... here are those eighties Indie books I promised.... and what beauty's they are!

Pacific Presents #1 (Rocketeer) 1982
The Legendary Dave Stevens & Steve Ditko from 1982. I believe the 3rd Rocketeer appearance after appearances in Starslayer #2 & #3, as well as the First Rocketeer cover Appearance? No?

Bold Adventure #1 (Time Force) 1983

American Flagg #3 #4 1983
One of the all-time greatest comic book series ever put to paper. Nice high grade early Howard Chaykin issues.

Ms. Tree #1 1983
who could forget the incomparable Ms. Tree? I was unaware the issue contained an early Frank Miller Pin-Up, despite it being plainly stated on the cover!

Jon Sable #1 1983

And the final book....... Another all-time great Indie title that helped set the standard for comic books... The Premiere Issue of the Mike Grell masterpiece, Jon Sable, Freelance.

The book is virtually flawless and I may yet have this one graded if and when the TAT's and wide grading scales come back to earth.

While there are 74 in the CGC census report, including 32 (9.8) 20 (9.6) 9 (9.4) respectfully, I found it odd that MCS only has lower grade reader copies of this book and there are only 5 listings on Ebay.

I'll see ya next time....

84 Donruss had Mattingly, Strawberry, and Joe Carter. Hands down best set of the 80's. Tough centering on the cards but gorgeous design

Holiday season has kept me busy and it has been awhile since my last post, but I have managed to get a few new books posted to the store.. Nothing to special.... some lower to mid grade Hex and Elfquest newsstand books.

I always loved the Hex title, It had a perfect old school western Hex feel blended perfectly with sci-fi elements. The Mark Texeria art was simply ass-kickin'

Some Newsstands from the classic Wendy & Richard Pini Elquest
