| The comic that started the "revival" for DC which led to The Brave and the Bold featuring the first appearance of the JLA! This also led to Marvel (Goodman) telling Stan he had to create some superheroes with Steve and Jack. Characters like the FF, Spidey, Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, and other iconic characters to play "catch up" as DC was kicking their butts at that time. Martian Goodman was a smart business man! | Latest pick up for MCS! Captain Marvel in every panel except the 1st, which has the lighting bolt turning Billy into Cap! It's also cool how he is diving into the water from the panel above the bottom one. Really iconic early 50's page with very clean line work by Kurt Schaffenberger!  |
