| Just recieved by books that I mailed September 2021 and marked recieved October 2021. They decided to go on a tour of the US and I feel like I should get Frequent Flyer Miles from FedEx. There return adventure started in Texas where they stopped for a visit in Ohio (about 280 miles from me). Apparently they decided to go a country concert in Tennessee. There they must have had too much Tennessee Whiskey and got on the wrong plane to Colorado. After sobering up and realized they were going in the wrong direction, they hopped on a red eye flight, finally arriving to me here in NY State. God I hate FedEx. |

| I just left a phone mail message to CBCS to return all of my orders that are marked "Received" but not yet "Grading". I have one order from August 2021 that is in "Heatseal" so will obviously let that one play out. But I have 14 other orders with a total of 1,973 books between September 2021 and June 2022 for which I am requesting a return. I hate like crazy to do this but my side business is no longer sustainable with this much capital tied up. I hope to use CBCS again someday but they will have to get their business straightened out first. |

| One of my September 2021 orders Modern, just Grading, is now 4 months in Heatseal and a total TAT sofar of 52weeks, much longer then the advertised 35weeks then sent in last year. My other September order Pressing/Grading Modern, the invoice changed from pressing back to received, so some movement there |

| @WalkinWillie yeah it's unfortunate but I think that it's the only choice to be made when literally every other company can grade the books sooner and as well. There's no reason to send book to them unless you are willing to pay more and that makes no sense to me unless a book is worth a LOT of money (in the thousands or more). | ||

| My books arrived today from my first shipment. I'm very pleased with the gradings and believe CBCS is the most consistent grader. This order was 360 days with CBCS. My second order has entered grading and my third (received 2 days after it) is still in receiving. My final thoughts on my order, I believe CBCS is trying to get their backlog under control. I received notifications on weekends which indicate they are work outside the Mon-Fri week. Am I in a hurry to submit more books? Not yet, but I'm not giving up on CBCS just yet. | ||

| @SidTheSquid unfortunately, I don't think he is wrong. They should be worried about such things but I am sure they are beyond caring as they are swamped and have no real serious plan on how to get out of it. They also may think that what is in house and incoming will more than make up for their losses. They should care though because they aren't the only game in town and their horrible TATs, inability to address them, brutal customer service, and many other failings over the years has led to a reputation that will be very hard to come back from. With CGC being able to rapidly address most of their TAT issues and activity promoting their dominance in the business there's less and less reason for people to try anyone else. In my region CBCS has about as much respect or less than PGX. They had their chance and frittered it away. I don't believe anything they say or promise now because they have never really delivered ... unless it was a service that was going to net them much more money. | ||

| I just received a shipment where only 3 out of 10 passed my grade limit. Not complaining about that. What they DID do is send one of the books that passed as a 9.8 in a flimsy plastic sleeve with the CBCS label indicating that it is a 9.8 in a separate bag! What's up with that? No paperwork indicating why they did not put the book in the hard plastic case. There is no way anyone is going to buy this book without the hard plastic case. Makes no sense to me, and of course, when you call they only accept a message. You cannot get a human being to talk with. Called and left two messages. Tried to call the NE Sales Rep, as I live in the NE, but there is no answer and no ability to leave a message. Have cancelled the charge on my credit card. Perhaps that will get someone's attention. |
