Nothing too exciting, but these are the ones staying in the collection this time around. As usual the rest go to MCS. |

I'm disappointed that some surface debris dropped my Superboy from a 9.4 and I also got a 9.0 on a silver surfer black #1 due to corner damage that wasn't there prior to the con. I'm thinking it may have gotten banged during signing, or, by me when I was shuffling it back into my folio...either way it was a 9.6 (maybe 9.8). That's the danger of signatures, oh well. |

@etapi65 great books!! I'm probably not remembering correctly but I thought Clayton Crane's signature was different....isn't he the guy that sometimes signed in multi coloured pens (I've seen red, white and blue). Amazing looking signature....is that Clayton's or am I mixing him up with someone else? This is the signature I was referring to. He changed his signature? |

Your picture I think is the rainbow signature and he also does one with every letter a different color known as his (I think) infinity signature and costs $125 dollars. Those are the bookeneds $5.00 for micro up to $125 for infinity. I think in all there are like...8 options at different price points. After the micro is a full last name where you can see every letter Then a full name one color Full name two colors Full name stylized one color (as above) fully name stylized two color Full name stylized with more than two colors full name stylized every letter a different color That might now be 100% correct, but it's something like that. He started doing this relatively recently...2018? 2019ish with the varying signature levels. Prior to that his sigs were pretty standard and just his last name (I have some ungraded that he didn't even charge for in 2017 on some books...if I think about it I can take a pic and post as a "pre-levels" signature. Edit: ignore all that; here's a menu from 2021; prices were a little different than this at Megacon Orlando...I actually think they were cheaper. |

@etapi65 That is insane... I do believe I have one of the multi-coloured signatures from him on a book I 'won' as part of a grab bag. Can't remember for sure, and right now that book is back at CGC because it was one of the many, Many returns I've had for them lately so I can't check. |

@etapi65 @Byrdibyrd That is wild and Crain obviously understands the signature "game"! Must be a pain remembering which sig to use. lol!

@GAC Oh yeah. The only reason I even have the snazzy one is that the book had it when I got it. The multi-coloured signature looks pretty cool, and I may shell out a little for one depending on the cover, but if I don't have to pay the big bucks for a signing then I don't.

@Byrdibyrd His full signature is very very cool and if I had it I would like it. The price for that signature is steep though. For me, the visual of the signature is secondary to the importance of whose signature it is. I'm mostly a GA/SA/BA collector...so Steranko checks both boxes but otherwise just having the signature (regardless of how it looks) is the main thing for me. |
