@StudleyDudley, I had a hard time not being a total dick in my posts or the contact I made today but it was hard. This is what I got from their cou de gra tier. It baffles me because one doesn’t really even have to be able to read. I could match hieroglyphics to the same hieroglyphics.

Soooooo, I wasn't sure if I'd mention anything of these labels since I got them back so fast. I paid shipping to get them the hell out, but wasn't charged for re holder and return shipping. I still got them graded and back in like 34-6 days or so, once all was said and done. I figured I'd just leave it at that even though I wondered about the 14 day TAT. Long story short, I checked my card and I was refunded. |

@HeinzDad That's interesting to hear! I wondered how that might work. Those books are sweet, too! |

Some I just got back the other day. I was hoping for 7.0s on the two Albedos, but I knew they might not make it. Thrilled that one of the Doomsday Squads came back a 9.8! Now I have to see about getting the other three raw copies I have graded. |

I did a mail in signing a couple years ago. I think it was 20 for a sig, 50 or 60 for the sketch as well. Totally worth it!

Just got a small express order back. This last one is the one I am most excited about. I had Mr. Perez sign it the first time I met him, and it was a dollar bin copy that had been folded in half before I got it. It was the only WW #1 available to me at the time, and I have cherished it for years. Since Mr. Perez passed away, I decided to have the signature verified and the book graded, knowing it would be a low grade. The fold didn't break colour, and in the holder you can barely see the indentation down the center of the book. So incredibly happy with how it looks in the holder. |

I'd like to say I still turned out alright, but that would be a lie. | flanders private msg quote post Address this user
@James42 that's a great story behind the WW and it looks amazing for the grade. I hope to have a ragedy copy of Spawn #1 that I bought off the rack as a kid signed by McFarlane one day.

@James42 That WW #1 presents really well for a 5.0! It looks amazing with George Perez' signature. |

The WW probably would have graded much higher with a professional press, but I didn't want to risk the signature at all. If you hold the slab at an angle, you can see the dent down the center, but dead on it is almost invisible. Eventually, I will have the WW #16 he signed for me the same time graded. I expect it will do much better. |

Got my books back today! Sorry for the bad pictures but figured I would take a picture now before putting them away. The first one probably wasn't worth getting graded but I really love the cover with Harley Quinn in prison and the white house. I had a really nice copy that I thought had a strong chance of getting a 9.8 as it was, so I sent it in without pressing and got the 9.8! I got this Tomb of Dracula 10 about 12 years ago for basically nothing and just kind of felt like it was time to get it graded since it has shot up in value. Not a high grade or anything and it has a big stain on the back cover, but fairly nice presenting cover in my opinion. |

@Dart1146 Those are both great! Congrats on the 9.8 for Suicide Squad, and you're right, that Tomb of Dracula presents really well. |
