What's the difference between the VSP and the VSPP? (other than cost)

One is for a single signature the other is for multiple

So the first signature is a different price if there are going to be extra signatures? That's kind of weird.

Very. Makes no sense that the 1st sig should cost more when there is a second.
I assumed it was just another error on the site when things changed.
Didn't realize it stayed that way.
Wonder what the first sig on a VSPPPP would cost ?

I have a few books with multiple sigs that I'm waiting to send in - not going to do it right now cause this pricing looks like a system error and I'm tired of hand written sh!t, either me writing in on my invoice or them giving me a hand written non-trackable credit to misplace and lose.

Or..who knows maybe the pricing is right and just stupid as hell!!!

Either way my multi sig books stay at home!!

I agree it's got to be an error. There is absolutely no logic in the first signature of a multi-sig book costing more than a lone sig.
Who knows if it's an error they'll fix though. It's been mentioned since day one of the changeover.
Just like the link to "add-on" services, which still goes to the sales team page... lol

I don’t think it’s an error. Though the first signature on multiple is more expensive than a single signature, you’re only paying that if you’re getting two or more signatures at which point you’re paying the same as two signatures ($25+$25 vs $30+$20) and subsequent signatures at $20 is less than the same number of individual signatures ($75 vs $70, $100 vs $90, etc)

I agree it’s counter-intuitive and there is most certainly a more straightforward way to price it but it does not appear to be a mistake

I think it's just an easier way of saying "first signature $25, second signature $25, all additional signatures $20". Or maybe a more complicated way of saying it.
My question, do you have the option of stopping the verification process if the first signature fails? or the second...or the subsequent signatures?

The only reason to think it's not a mistake is because they don't change it.
Seems silly no matter what.
$25 for one.
$30 + $20 for 2.
$30 + $20 + $20 for 3 ?

But the bigger question is how much is one signature?

If these aren't mistakes, as you say, then maybe someone can decipher what they're trying to say.
A Verified Sig is either $20 or $25, depending on where you look, unless there is another sig on the book, then it's $30.
This is why I say there are mistakes.

@Sigur_Ros You’re understandably misunderstanding the second image.

The $20 Verified Signature tier on the Grading Pricing is what was previously called Slab-Only. An ungraded encapsulated tier that includes one verified signature at a discount. The $20 witnessed signature tier next to it is the same thing but expanded to witnessed Signatures since slab only was strictly for verified signatures.

This is separate from signature verification on the add-on which is used to add signature verification on a graded tier.

This is the same setup as before the price increase.

I’m not sure what you’re trying to point out with the list of fees for 3+ signatures. As @EbayMafia pointed out, it looks like it’s just there to say that the first two signatures are $25 each and then subsequent signatures are discounted.

This is similar to the system that was in place before the price increase where the first signature was $25 and subsequent signatures were $15. Except now the first two signatures are $25 before subsequent signatures are cheaper.

So again, this is not a mistake. This is consistent with, though obviously more expensive, than their setup before the price increase. That it is not well-explained on the site is a different issue

Ok, thanks.
It's under "Comic Grading Pricing" so I didn't know it had nothing to do with comic grading.

I'm going with complicated. The first thing many of us have said is "WTH, first one costs more if there is a second?"

If you choose not to encapsulate if verification fails, you just get a sticker on the book that says "Bad Sig". It doesn't say which one. So, if the idea is to only encapsulate if all sigs pass, and one fails, further verifications would only be ripping you off. Assuming it wasn't the last sig on the list.
