| I actually talked to a guy about this once. He collects as a hobby and told his wife that he will always have his collection for sale on eBay. She agreed to stay out of it and not nag him about how much he spends as long as he has everything for sale. So, when he has a comic or a slab he wants to hold on to, he gives it an outrageous price like this!!! That way, he gets to hold on to the comic, it's listed on eBay and no nagging wife!!! LOL!!! This was a few years ago and I don't recall the seller, but I sent him a note on an auction like this asking if he was out of his mind!! He responded and fessed up to his plan!! LOL | ||
