6 smooth coated collies born to our Sadie (Snappy McSnapperson) 5 days ago. Own 2 more collies, 3 cats.
All our animals have 2 names, the wife has hers, I have mine. No reason to argue.

have no pets. cant afford the pet fee in apartment. but growing up we had pretty much every kind of pet at some point (not at once). we've had 3 1/2 cats (half was a stray we never let inside...so never really ours), 2 1/2 dogs (same as 1/2 cat). fish, mice, tadpole, snake, hermit crabs, cockateel, turtles...it really was...what didnt we have

didnt have a rabbit, ferret (was legal in our state....but we did pet sit our neighbor's in our house)...full grown frog (tadpole did die eventually....though I did once own a little frog), spider....cant think of anything else we didnt have

When I was a teenager, back in the 70s, we had CJ ... a very hyper Boston. When I was 12, my folks got divorced and my mom (along with me and my siblings) moved a few blocks away. CJ came with us. A few times a week, CJ would let us know that he wanted out to go see our father (we could tell when he simply had to go pee). We would let him out and he would take off running down the street. We would casually go back inside and call our dad to let him know that CJ was on his way. Dad would open the front door of his house and a few minutes later CJ would bound in. He did this 100s of times.
Until one time he never showed up.

I've had many more Bostons over the years.

@Gaard Smaller dogs don't usually do it for me, but Bostons are one of the exceptions. Happy dogs with sweet personalities and pretty easy to care for as long as you don't let them get bored. If I were to get another dog, I would be thrilled with a Boston.

We had all the neighbor kids scouring the neighborhood ... he was a very popular dog. Sadly, CJ was never found.
