Did anything change for dealers? Some of the screen shots people are posting saying what prices are it won't come up on my account?

The above is w/o $200 membership. With membership it’s 32 weeks.
So basically in order to get the same TAT’s as before the change, you have to pay the annual $200. Plus no guarantee. WTF

So the discount only applies if you with the $200 membership fee and there is only one type of membership???

@MutantMania correct the discount per book and 32 week TAT on regular tiers is for the only membership. $200

I haven’t seen it mentioned yet but it looks like there is now a $10 fee if you’re submitting a book that is from outside the US, though not applicable to Canadian price variants

It's to bad that they didn't put some or all of the membership fee credit towards grading fees like the other place.

They used to give coupons for a couple free 2-day, etc. Not sure if those are gone too

Come to think of it...
Does anyone know what coupons were given with the bronze membership?
I used the 2-day coupons but there was something else like "rapid" or something... 3 fast passes maybe?

I don't remember what they were to be able to use them still.

Can I add express to an order already in the system?
Have an order from November with Fast Press and Fast Pass - but of course no actual idea where they are in the process.
When submitted with the fast options I should be scheduled to have the order ready before the end of 2022 - will it happen???
Is it already in the press?? who knows!!!
Would be happy to pay the difference to upgrade from fast to express if needed - maybe if press is imminent then upgrade to express grading???

By the way -no normal fast options? so what happens to existing orders? will new express jump in line in front of the old fast??

Perhaps I missed something here, I have a paid membership I would like to use the express service but I don't see it come up when I try to enter books for submission. And if I'm correct Magazine still aren't an option until the end of the month?

I like the reduced prices for a 2 week modern essentially replacing the 2 day moderns.
I don't like switching to business days for TATs. I preferred the old way of just showing actual weeks, no calculations needed, that way you see right up front what all the estimated times are.

Doesn't seem like anyone has mentioned this, but I find it hilarious that in choosing Standard TATs:

Grading - Almost 1 year for any era
Pressing - Almost 2 years for any era.
Grading & Pressing - Almost 3 years.

And a price increase for that luxury of waiting that long.
Yep - TAT issue was definitely resolved. Clearly.

When I mentioned that I believe CBCS needs to raise prices in a previous post I didn't mean they should raise prices plus increase turnaround times from 32 weeks to a minimum of 45 weeks. It does deter people from sending in low value books though, which is something that I do agree needs to be addressed. Now I'll only be sending in books at the express level that are worth a minimum of $250 instead of sending in a high volume of books worth less than $250 with a grade screen.

This could actually work to eventually reduce turnaround for the slowest tier since I expect the volume of books being submitted will drop. It's not bad that a lot of dreck we see being graded, my own stuff included, will stay in a box where they belong.

Hi,

I signed up for the bronze membership about 2 weeks ago and it was supposed to include the perks with the 2-day and rapid vouchers. How do we take advantage of those under the new model? I like CBCS for what they do, but their technology side as far as website and email responses are woefully lacking.

I would assume that legally any plan that was signed up prior to the change that was supposed to include those perks would have to be honored.

I think it’s about time they got rid of the $250 and even the $400 FMV limits for tiers. I filled out an “old” form yesterday for 5 SA books that fell into the now eliminated Quickstream tier at $52 each. They would now be considered Vintage Express and cost $54 each with guaranteed 14 day TAT. So only $10 more for the five books. Looking closer, the shipping, handling, and insurance under the old pricing was $35, but unless I am reading the charts wrong, the new cost would be $30 for s&h, but insurance would be another $48 on top of that! So it would go from $35 to $78, an increase of $43, and cost nearly $16 per book for shipping and insurance alone. That’s more than double what it used to be - holy bat crap! That seems excessive.
And if you look at the printable invoice form, ASP is still listed at $5, with VSP at $30 for the first signature, and $25 for each addition.

@quick1unc

Write the coupons on the packing list / invoice of your submission and you should be good to go. Just remember not to mix tiers unless you want to wait fir the slowest book on your list to be for the ENTIRE order and not just that book.

I also have all my rapid vouchers to use. Of course, who is to say what "rapid" is anymore.
Would be bad if they just wiped all that away from people. I would be more upset over the 2-day, but thankfully I just used mine a few weeks ago.

This is a question for customer service, unless someone from staff is willing to reply here...
