@Sigur_Ros Yeah but now it’s 5 days moneyback guaranteed TAT as opposed to the 2-month TAT it was seeing previously and there is now a $40 guaranteed 2-week service as well

I’m waiting to see how the Witnessed signature services shake out.

Right, but it did go way up.
Couple weeks ago I got a 2-day back in 10 days from drop-off at post office until back in my hands. The one before that was 8 days. Never heard of anyone waiting 2 months for 2-day.

I'm curious about the different VSP programs. Seems only some peoples' questions get answered tho

@Sigur_Ros Fair enough, I was mistaken about the turnaround time but in the turnaround time thread people are reporting a little over two weeks from receipt at CBCS to shipping, which is still slower and more expensive than the new guaranteed 2-week service

Witness signature went from $5 to $20?! Does that include grading fees or is that additional...

What about Authorized Witness? I tested the Canadian Invoice and it still came up as $6 Canadian for Signatures.

I think you might’ve commented a bit too hastily since both points have been brought up and we’re waiting on clarification

What is the difference? Does it mean witnesses at conventions are now $20? Or does it mean if I submit a book for ASP (say a mail-in commission or I was an approved witness at a convention) it now Costs $20 or $25 extra?

I think they mixed them up, not sure what happened.

We are still offering VSP for sure. Not sure why it's not on there.

It's under add-ons.
Do you know the difference between VSP and VSPP ?

Only difference I see is VSPP allows for more than one sig.

I’m thinking about giving up slabbing comics too much money being spent on it. Unless the book is worth $1k or more then maybe.

I like that there are now options for Express with Canadian submissions.

Why if you get a vsp it’s $25 but it goes up on vspp to $30? That makes no sense why would it go up just because you want another on verified.

I too was wondering what the extra $5 buys you since it's not explained... so I asked.

Seems it's all a work in progress.
Answers coming soon... probably.

This morning VSP had the additional sig option. Refreshed the page later and it was gone and VSPP was added.

dang. have to rethink my next submission. planned on doing 3 or 4 with 1 being from 90s, and 2 being modern (from last several years) and the maybe 4th from 80s. maybe save the one from 80s for another time. if I do a 4th....modern like House of X #2 or Ultimate Comics spider-man #1 (1st full appearance of Miles Morales, 1st appearance of Uncle Aaron).

if I do three. looking at $89 ($24 for the 90s which is top of my list to do list plus I think $23 shipping), plus $20 each for the other two with $1 shipping added). if I end up doing 2.

But I see they increased the fmv limit to $1000 (I think was $400 prior) so dont have to worry about it. I think only comic worth maybe more then that I have Im saving till last due to signatures needing to be authenticated (secret wars #8 signed by shooter, zeck and beatty)

I might have to do only 2 submissions (will do Amazing spider-man #365 aka first spiderman 2099 and Amazing spider-man #4 first Silk) with new prices. Im doing it at a convention so have a set budget. already set money aside for grading and will likely need to add to budget to do 3 or 4

Will existing dealers now have to pay membership of $200 to continue to access all the services or will their accounts transfer over, at least for the first year, into full access?

Is $200 really the new cost for membership?
Can't see that unless I create a new account. Of course, that may change.

I had to create a new account. Not ideal, as I would have preferred to just use my first account and transfer it to the new member ship, but it's not the end of the world.

Trying to do a submit comic for the Chayking signing.

What are the insurance levels equate too?

I can't seem to check on press screening.

Is the site still under re-programming?

Yea, saw that. Just didn't know if "Club Member" was the basic CBCS "Bronze" membership, etc...or something else.

Unfortunate, since I don't submit anywhere near the $2K/yr it would take for the discount to pay for itself.
So full price for me. Actually, same price as CGC for modern now. Hmm..

Now that I've created a new account in order to sign up for a new membership I no longer have access to my submissions and that kinda stinks. Apparently I haven't been a member before today either, and that's a bummer, too.

@sdr2711 The submission form (https://www.cbcscomics.com/submission-form) seems to have the insurance tiers visible if that helps bud.

I would wait until they get these issues worked out. There is no reason you shouldn't be able to just extend your current membership.

If you mean the FMV limits per tier, they’re on the website under pricing as well as further up in this thread

Has anyone found any info on the magazine breakdown. I can see value and premium but cant see age/values of books permitted within each tier and not seeing the verified part (which has already been answered so should be fixed soon).

The above is w/o $200 membership. With membership it’s 32 weeks.
So basically in order to get the same TAT’s as before the change, you have to pay the annual $200. Plus no guarantee. WTF

So the discount only applies if you with the $200 membership fee and there is only one type of membership???

@MutantMania correct the discount per book and 32 week TAT on regular tiers is for the only membership. $200
