I don't think it got answered but I'll ask just in case I missed it. I just repurchased my "bronze" membership primarily with the express intent of using the coupons that were associated with it in addition to the lowered pricing costs. Was it ever determined if those coupons are still being honored? If so, what tier is it going to work for? If they're no longer being honored, I'm basically out $100 because otherwise I'm not going to submit enough books over the next year to justify that cost. Also, the submission I sent in Feb. Is it going to be charged under the new pricing or the old?

I just want to know if I can Express press without Club membership or if I need to fork over the $200. I don’t give AF about price increases, I’m not sure if being Club is a benefit to ME personally. If Club is required for express press then so be it; if not that’s a few more books I can send.
@HulkSmash - you do NOT need to buy the membership to submit via express, express+, or Super express. So unless you are sending in a few higher tier comics, you may submit away.

I have spoken.
Express Grading; Yes. Express Pressing?; I’m not getting an option for Express Pressing. I add Press and I’m at 57 weeks with Express Grading or 67 weeks Standard Grading; either way I’m 1 year plus. How do I qualify for “Express Pressing”? Remember this is America and instant gratification is an absolute and anything below that is unacceptable 😋

I just finished adding 10 modern books with pressing(57 weeks). There is NO scenario where I was able to choose "Express Plus" or "Super Express" neither are active options.

other than "Press Screening" There are no other Pressing options

Nooo.....shocking as this may be... I think the CBCS pricing and submission forms aren't actually working correctly!!

Cause there is a normal express pricing and a member express pricing....if you had to be a member to use express then there would be no normal vs. discounted member price

Now... I know this means that I think CBCS's roll out of the new prices hasn't gone smoothly and isn't actually working - but I mean...that appears to be the case

I was pulling some books for VSP and even some for magazine but I think I'll wait a while

Another option would be to use the most modern of approaches and print off the paper forms and write things in - lol!!!! hahahahahahaha - 21st century - I guess it's a smoother launch than the Titanic??

Not sure I follow. There is member and non member (as well as dealer) pricing for all of the grading tiers. You do not have to be a member to use the faster grading options

There seemed to be a question of IF you needed to be a member to use faster PRESSING options. Not sure we have had an answer.

Wow..the paper forms have different pricing on them than the main web page for VSP options and grading press screen (which I guess is both grading and press screen??)

also on the paper forms press screen says $5 but Grading/Press screen in a different part of the form says $6 and minimum 5 books - guess the comic industry failed to raise reading comprehension for at least a few generations...other wise someone would have proof read the forms and notice what I did with just a cursory glance!

just noticed pressing and non-pressing can't be on same order = double the return shipping
hack = add press screen to the non-pressing books...although there now appears to be a 5 book minimum - if you don't have that then change some 100% press books to press screen - not sure about anyone else but it is 100% cheaper for me to add $30 to press screen 5 books than it is to have 2 sperate orders shipped back!!

@IronMan

they have a pricing page - presumably for everyone because there is also a different members pricing page (both grading and pressing)

I would assume all services on the non-member pricing page are open for non-members to submit to - also appears that is the case on the paper forms i.e. paper forms have normal pricing but members get 10% off - although there doesn't appear to be any way to indicate you are a member on the printable forms

What I think isn't working is the on-line CBCS submission option - because the roll out was done poorly...

Also - discrepancies from printable forms to on-line pricing and discrepancies within the printable forms themselves - smoooooth

wow - just noticed that my press screen hack won't work anymore

If CBCS decides the press isn't needed then those books will be split out - graded and returned separately than the pressing books...so....double your return shipping!!! fun!!!!!

Both printable and on-line submission formats appear to be error ridden

Do not use, do not submit - try again in a few days as hopefully someone somewhere is noticing this other than just the customers and will fix things??

I am a member and I believe I had Express Plus & Super Express as options when I made my two 'New Express' submissions yesterday (I just didn't use them because I was fine with the 4 week TAT I was quoted). What I did NOT see anywhere was an option to get express pressing, and that will be an issue with the third submission I was planning but did NOT submit. Those books need a press.

Coupons previously obtained (that haven't expired that is), will still be honored under the new price tiers. You will just need to state it on your submission form when you submit and we will credit you the value that the coupon gives.

I hope that clears up that confusion!

It doesn't. What does "credit the value" mean here? And how does one know the value of a service that no longer exists?

Is a 2-day voucher really just going to get someone the 14-day express, or the original 2-day?

And what about the fast pass vouchers that cut time "in half"... What is half now? Half of the basic grading tier?

And current memberships... Get the discounts available under the new membership price?

That said, thanks for letting us know that vouchers weren't just canceled. Been wondering... for quite a few days.

yeah..I've been wondering what happens to books already submitted with fast options (November!!) will the new express jump to the front and make the extra I paid for fast worthless?? why not offer us with fast the option to pay the difference to move to express...or....be a decent corporation and auto bump fast to the lowest level of express

Shouldn't CBCS have something in their system to flag these credits for their customers? What happens to those customers that have credits, and don't know about this process and don't write it on the form? Do they lose it?

The value of the coupons is $100 for a bronze membership, which is the cost of the tier. It includes two 2 day modern coupons and 3 fast passes. Maybe cbcs can clarify if your account is credited $100 and you are no longer limited to specific services if you're like me and haven't used any coupons yet. It would be nice to have a $100 credit (free membership) in addition to the 10% discount.

Seriously though, I suspect they might be working a running list for IT to address and they would make part of the next update (aka Magazines). I would hope that they would address piecemeal sooner though.
