| I have 2 Marvel bronze age comics. Nova #1 and Marvel Spotlight #32. Both of these covers have yellow lines through the red ink on the covers. It almost looks like the red had been scraped off exposing the yellow underneath. Is this a common flaw? How would it affect grading? | ||

While we wait for pics on that...any ideas about this. I have two x Darkness #1 black editions. One of them has these white crosshairs all over the face. It was my original copy from initial release. The other I got probably 2003 ish and noticed this big difference.   |

| @etapi65 a Foil cover I assume? I’ve seen some Foil covers that certain “artifacts” that did not translate during printing resulting in similar dots. Venom Lethal protector comes to mind, but those were flaking right of the press rather than mis printing. | ||

| It does appear relegated to the red. Not sure if this would count as color lift (impact grade) or printing issues (not impact grade). Certainly looks like a printing issue. | ||
