If the civically-minded Joker pays his taxes, does he also show up for jury duty?

If I recall correctly, in the animated series he wanted to patent the joker fish and charge a tax on all who sold the fish....

That's called a royalty fee.

Some prep pictures then end product. Chicken, andouille sausage, and shrimp jambalaya.

Jambalaya = yummy. I'm jealous. All I had was a baked potato and some veggies.

Garlic, herb, white wine sauce and shrimp pasta. Simple but a fave for the kids (and we enjoy it too).

Depending on your mood, I made either a pineapple coconut cheesecake or a piña colada cheesecake. Pics to follow in the morning after it chills.

We are finally getting our new full size dishwasher this Weds. Been without since July of last year. Have used a countertop unit since August and that has meant tradeoffs.

You have to make hard decisions when you are staring down prospects of hand washing and/or 1 cubic feet of dishwasher space.

Edit: “hard decisions” more akin to choosing between Batman 227 or 251. Not like choosing between wrestling a lion or hippo to get supper on the table.

Not from me.

I don't bake banana anything or any bread that might contain a gourd or vegetable.

Though I have been known to use instant mashed potatoes and milk powder in my homemade cinnamon rolls.

Also, oatmeal is the closest I'll ever get to anything bran.

By the way, I forget who suggested it, but thank you to the folks that suggested an air fryer. Costco had a sale this month and I picked one up. So far very solid investment.

@Bronte great, right? Amazing what a fan, heat and a confined space can do.

Convection ovens can achieve similar-ish results by using the upper third of the oven and convect bake mode and a wire mesh or grate over a pan.

When we need to “air fry” in larger batches that is what we do. Speed improvement vs conventional baking is not as dramatic (because physics) but the outcome in cook quality is similar.
