Would anyone like to share any of their thoughts on their favorite George Perez comics, stories they've got from when met him at cons, his art, etc?

I don't have any stories but always have loved his art style. One of my favorite shirts is from Infinity gauntlet

And I'm happy I at least got to get one a piece of production art signed by him.

I showed this to my wife and she commented on how cool and detailed it looked. Even someone who's not into comics I think can appreciate his art.

Haven’t had the opportunity to meet him but I love his work and he has done some of the most epic crossovers and group shots ever!

This is supposed to be the start of a Jam Piece but I haven’t been to a convention in years to get it started in earnest

I’ve only got to meet him twice but both times were a highlight of my collecting life. One of the most genuine people I’ve met in the business. Got quite a few sketches from him both times.

Doc Savage: $50 from a super small dealer at Baltimore Comicon who (I guess) didn't know what he had.
Hawkman: $175 from an art dealer
Iron Man: $300 from George's FB (if I remember correctly). He did a few commissions and they were gone immediately
Deathstroke: Typical con sketch at going rate that year
Spider-Man: Typical con sketch at going rate that year.

George used to do a yearly signing at my LCS and this is probably my favorite cover he signed. It's the Herobear 1:10 or 1:25 variant. Can't remember the ratio.

Where's his Bat-package? Byrdibyrd private msg quote post Address this user
Absolutely love George's work. His re-imagining of Wonder Woman in the 80s was epic, and his art was always amazing. I first started paying attention when he was on New Teen Titans. Folks who didn't know his name would usually call him the "rubble artist" for his insane attention to detail, in particular his insistence on drawing every bit of post-combat rubble. While I would have a heckuva time picking out a favourite piece of art from him, I'll offer the cover of Wonder Woman #1, which I think is one of the greatest montage covers EVER.

I don't have a great story (like meeting him in person), but I will say that thanks to his art and story telling style, he single handily turned me into a "serious collector" from a kid who just liked reading comic books.
