| My last submission from back in May was a tragedy. A bunch of modern books that I rushed into grading, didn't get pressed or anything. Just kind of crossed my fingers and that a couple of them would work out. But I got what I had coming to me. Turns out I was mining for gold on the wrong land. Books that only justified slabbing at 9.4 and above all came back at 9.2 and below. Long story short, it was good that I looked at the grades beforehand because I never opened that box. When it arrived I just took off the label, put on a new label for MCS and took it down to the post office. | ||

| @WMorse…thanks for the reminder, lol. Looks like they will be delivered tomorrow but i am not going to be in the office, Tuesday it is.  I must say, waiting for comics to be graded, encased, and shipped…sucks. Waiting for the package to be delivered, knowing that the grades a likely on my dashboard is nerve shattering torture. |

Here are the photos. The video will follow soon...hopefully. Pleased that it maintained the 8.5 and even more please that the pages kept the OW-W.  Very happy that it maintained a A1 Professional Conservation with WHITE pages!  Pleased/happy but not surprised that this came back at only 5.0 from cgc's BS 5.5 grade which was WAYYY overgraded.  Ok, I wasted my money on a press and regrade on this one. Gotta say though, it looks better now than when I sent in. I will be nonetheless happy to display in my collection.  Super Ecstatic on this one. Kudo's and thanks to @SteveRicketts. This raw that I picked up was 6.0-7.0 due to the non-color breaking creases. He made a good looking SA comic look Great!! Edit, just remembered, CBCS takes free photo for 1day tier so here is the pro GSX photo:  |

| @CaptainCanuck - Yes, I did send each of the 4 graded comics to CBCS in their slabs. Aaannnd, I hit it with black light and did not see anything. Then, I thought, let me go to the CBCS graders notes, and low and behold, there is color touch on the spine, so I will send back in to CBCS for Re-Holder/label correction. Again, without the press, this was a huge overgrade by cgc. Maybe 4.0 at best. So, with a 5.0 I am fine now that it looks like a 5.0. This one was going to be sold anyway, since I already acquired an upgrade. But, I will re-holder first to a correct label cause I am not that kinda guy. |

IMO - GSX-1 looks best when paired with a CBCS Blue Label. The label does not pull the eyes away from the artwork and enhances the background old team while allowing the new team to pop.  |

| @lawguy1977 - Thanks much. The SS4 was a home run for me. FF48 & GSX1 were big reliefs. The SS3 definitely looks better to me but obviously wasn’t enough improvement to move the CBCS needle so as it was for my PC anyway, i am fine with it. As far as the blind, the first 2-3 days were excruciating. By the weekend it eased up. Monday-Wed were not that bad as the package was at my office. When I finally got to hold the box, my heart started fluttering. |
