If MCS includes links to their own items on eBay, it would definitely make their own prices look better.

Is this really worth $68,000?

Seller's Grading Comments: 1st comic App of the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. Premium only in select Funpals Underwear late Jan 1994; two months earlier than Sentai #2 and Disney Adventures #6 (4/1994). A Teenage Mutant Turtle #1 has over 800 CGC graded (at nearly $100k for a 9.8). This one is over 200X as rare. Besides low-print run, most were tossed; if you could wear one of your favorite heroes, why read the comic! This particular 1st App of the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers has only four (4) copies at CGC!!! and only appears in market every couple years; a testament to the difficulty of finding even one out there. Truly a centerpiece to any modern collection.

lol!! NO not worth it

For that type of money you could probably employ one of the actual Power Rangers for 2 or 3 years - or produce at least 1 episode where you could be the star!! - now that would be worth it...if Power Rangers was your thing - also...they were out in Japan long before North America - pretty sure there must be a comic/manga 1st appearance there somewhere?

It's actually out being delivered now so hopefully I get it today. I've been waiting on this book for literally 1.5 years.... I have a second book that is still in cgc purgatory. Could be the longest time ever buying a book and then getting it from a company.

Book arrived... 9.8 BUT CRACKED. Sigh.....

And for some reason the remarque was done on tbe back of the book vs the front?

Edit

Just noticed. My copy has no color on bandana. All copies on ebay do. I wonder if it makes mine more rare?

I'm sure it's just me...but is there some reason that DF uses Ken Haeser for their sketch covers??

I mean..I look at them and think they are detrimental to the book - better off just leaving them blank.

@EbayMafia

Yes. I'm just glad it came. For a while, my unrealistic fear of the company going out of business kept pervading my thoughts.

The store gave me a refund of 30$ paypal. I looked it up and I think its 43$ to have it reholdered and shipped back. So 13$ plus shipping to them. I can live with that.

@ComicNinja0215 - Most of them can be pressed safely. Some types of inks should not be pressed, so use a reliable presser who knows what they are doing.

Not sure if I should start a new thread on this. I googled it and didn't immediately find anything but does anyone know what the story behind the Pop Art notation on Marvel books? What it means or why it's there?

Is it simply/solely a marketing tool/ploy?

So, when I look up my books they show as "processing" what does that mean in the grand scheme of things?? Does that mean they are sitting around waiting to be graded? Or are they in process?

@PDGray - when you look at your order, by clicking on the “Invoice” you usually get the most updated information about it.
