@DrWatson
I have never been on that forum, but others have said similar comments that the other guys are um... unkind regarding CBCS and people who submit to them.
No worries, as long as they stay on their side of the fence.

I found these X-Men 116 signed copies for sale on Ebay

This one is signed by Claremont in a 9.6

https://www.ebay.com/itm/193437154201?hash=item2d09c0bb99:g:YY0AAOSwMkReo6nX

This one is signed by Stan & Chris in a 9.6

https://www.ebay.com/itm/134144075873?hash=item1f3b9c2861:g:4OkAAOSw~kFipCpd

Both are CGC with White Pages.
What would this one be worth?

@Bronte
So based on that, both of those Ebay listings are over double gpa value...

Here are a couple of 9.6 Blue label sales.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/225000125507?hash=item34630d7443:g:ZkwAAOSwE8NijEqU

dgAAOSwxIxhlolm" target="_blank">https://www.ebay.com/itm/234293238953?hash=item368cf71ca9:gdgAAOSwxIxhlolm

Looks like from these that maybe gpa is a bit low???
or the gpa signed copies are a couple of years old, which would make them more valuable now?

@Nearmint67

If you look at the dates the signed copies are from more than 6 months ago. The pictures provided are just from last sales, since none were sold recently, fair Market value is up in the air. Personally I would look at unsigned and add a few hundred to that and go from there. But honestly I don't like signatures unless I'm reselling.

1983 He-Man mini comic books. Are they worth anything?

This is a picture my friend took. He knows I like comic books.

They don’t look to be in great shape. He wants me to name a price. I said how about free and he said nope.

Any thoughts?

@Nearmint76 There’s a sale I didn’t see listed above for a CGC 9.4 SS white pages signed by Chris Claremont that sold at auction for 242.49 back on April 13th.

Then the 9.6 signed should be 400.00+ right?

@Briten it looks like those might be "Masters of the Universe" mini comics. I didn't check on those specific ones, but a quick glance at MCS shows them $2 - $10 each.

Has anyone used obsolete membership coupons (ex: 2 day modern, fast passes) on a recent order after the tiers changed, and if so what happened with your order? I used coupons on an order submitted under the slowest tier that was delivered this Monday and strange things are happening.

Does anyone know anything about this 7” articulated Batman figure? Bought it years ago. Can’t remember anything about it. I think the seller claimed it was special. Hard vinyl body, flexible vinyl cape that helps him stand.

So I bought a ton of Edge of spider-verse copies for night spider. But in the later issue if it floats your boat, there will be the first guy Spider-man

Good grief! Talk about over-the-top stereotypes. That's like RuPaul gay. Like a caricature. The second tweet would indicate that the creator got some pushback on that.

But is it worse than the miles morales as thor stereotype? I heard that was actually offensive. Personally I don't read books so I don't really mind what's in it. Ideally though I would prefer stuff that doesn't offend anybody. Although I gotta say as stupid as it sounds the spider dinosaur is in a weird way kinda cool to me.

I never heard about that one. But geez, this looks like RuPaul in a Versace designed costume (before Versace died he designed the costumes for the Judge Dredd movies if I recall correctly). In fact I bet that's exactly how the creator explained it to the artist.

That's horrendous. The first gay Spider-Man and their first thought is to outfit him like an anorexic drag queen. Because, you know, men can't be gay and have cool costumes like other superheroes. They have to have Bob Mackey and Cher on speed dial.

It's funny that someone always complains about moderation when a thread is locked as opposed to the reason it was locked.

I figure it will be unlocked in a few days with the hope that those involved will have learned to act their age.

Plus, I feel there is quite a bit of freedom to post what you like on the forums. The post something funny thread being a good example. If you don't follow the forum guidelines or you act like an ass, then threads get locked and folks get suspensions.

That's the part that makes it hilarious. The "just for fun thread" turns into Grumpy Old Men III about 3 hours after sunset.
