South East Yeah, Texas has gotten the crap end of the stick a few times if I recall correctly. The worst I think was the cold snap without power. That was just nuts. I hope you and everyone else can dodge another year or more without hurricanes. If not, I highly recommend a dual fuel generator if you have to do it ghetto style. Propane instead of gas is sooooo damn nice. No gummed up carb to ruin your already crappy time. |

Yea, @Bronte, the cold snap without power was in February 2021. People actually died from the cold. It was just insane that the power grid failed like it did for a cold snap that would have been an afterthought even a couple of hundred miles north. . I actually do have two Honda generators and I believe Honda has a kit that will allow them to use propane. Not a bad idea. I need to look into that before I need them. I asked about your location because my family and I will be visiting the Florida panhandle in a month or two. Hurricanes permitting, of course. |

Never been to an imax before. Surprisingly it's cheaper than the seats at the theater I normally go to. (The theater I normally go to has "premiere seating" which is like a huge recliner just for you. It is like double the cost of a normal seat, but very much worth it when I wore a few extra pounds) Edit I've read the imax I'm going to has heated seats. So I'm hoping it's freezing in tbe theatre. |

@Nearmint67 It looks like a collection reprinting Incredible Hulk Annual 1 among others. I'm not sure if those were collected in a single American edition or not. What other stories are in there?

For those of you debating going to see top gun maverick, it was very good. I didn't see much difference between imax and the premiere seating I'm used to, but the film itself was very good and there was even clapping at tbe end of the film with folks expressing approval.

@Bronte I actually have the first one on DVD and we rewatched it last night. Still good and holds up to the test of time, so far. The last time I saw the first one was when I was still in the military lol! We'll go see the new one on Wednesday and we're looking forward to it.

I watched the original on VCR. I wasn't fortunate enough to see it in a theater. My buddy and I have been waiting forever for this film. Both agreed it was very good if not better than the original. The ending was a huge plus if you were a fan of the original.

I have a stupid question. I have a Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight #1. The outer cover is kinda beat and the Interior cover is great. If I remove. The outer cover would it take a massive grade hit or be considered “incomplete”? I’m going with incomplete, but I wouldn’t mind slabbing it with the artwork cover instead of the goddamn ugly “collector” cover. I like the progression of the Shaman cover and think they are cool. Like I said; stupid question. |
