He asks as the NFL season ends. I’m always feeling frisky outside of draft kings and fantasy leagues. Heck, I’d take your comics as payment!

I know huh? Football is so much more fun to bet on than other sports. If I deposited money now I would probably just blow it all in their online casino section of the site. Get caught up on some rigged virtual slot machine or something.
Ohio has passed sports betting in venues. The casino here was supposedly turning the buffet area into a sports book. It hasn’t happened yet but maybe by next season. I’ve never been to our casino because I don’t play table games but you better believe I’ll go place bets, drink beer, and watch football there.

Top left hand corner isn't a stain it's a distributor oversprey

If those books hit or come near 6.0, that price is a steal. If not, it's a good price. do you have a guesstimated grade?

I think the 30 is a 6.5 white pages
The 96 I'd say 5.0 due to the distribution over spray though it could grade higher.

I'm not looking to sell them now I just had someone a few months ago ask and after I gave the price I didn't hear back whether I was too expensive, or found something else.

So was just curious what they should and or could fetch?

I want Stafford to fail miserably. It’s petty and it may reflect on me but I’ll just admit it.

I hope Janine Garafalo does well...really show what she can do.
Surprised about the switch to sport from comedy at that age though...

To answer your question, no, this is not where the comics go to die. MutantMania private msg quote post Address this user
Anyone familiar with how submitting an autographed comic to MCS for consignment works?
It is a raw copy already checked with Beckett and likely to pass authentication.

Ok I got some info on this from MCS but now I would like to know.....

Has anyone ever submitted a signed raw book? With or without a C.O.A.

I was thinking of submitting my copy of Saga #1 signed by Brian K. Vaughan.
Originally I wanted to get it pressed, verified, and graded but I need some extra cash and can't wait a year to get it back.

What do you think a straight run of Spawn #1 - 110 would with all of the issue 100 variants go for?

Would you buy a book graded by the cgc from a zero feedback seller on eBay?

I've done it before. Paypal and credit card was used. Ebay refunded my money.

Edit

Everyone has to start at zero. Hence my giving it a chance

Yes, we all started at zero, but I built up feedback as a buyer before I ever sold anything.

The purchase didn't go my way. I was just explaining my reasoning. Right or wrong.

If you have misgivings, then skip over it. If you want to gamble go for it. Just be mindful your money is tied up for at least 2 weeks in a dispute.

High dollar books with zero feedback is definitely a red flag, whether they are buying or selling.

No, but I wouldn't expect someone up to shenanigans to answer truthfully.

I've gotten some awesome deals buying from zero feedback sellers. Alot of people are afraid to bid.
Even if it is a bad seller and the deal goes bad it's not like I'm not going to get my money back.

yeah, I follow. I bought a raw book once and most their sales where hosiery. I expressed concern and the seller said something like I let my husband or boyfriend use my account.

I’ve sold exactly 2 graded books on eBay. I wanted full dollar and I didn’t want to look like an idiot here. I had a friend help with little feed back and I believe it hurt my return. What was I to do?

Yeah. To me, since ebay almost always sides with buyer, taking a risk on a book is not always a bad thing. Hence my buying on low feedback folks sometimes. Between ebay, paypal, and credit card, it's kinda hard to get screwed.

New question:
What's the best membership level for CBCS in terms of bang for your buck?
I've looked at the graphic or chart on the website, but don't really get it.
I don't care if I'm dumb or not, I just want to understand what I'm buying, and not have to wait too long on my next grading submission.

@MRmintastic the memberships were set up to be worth about the same as their coupon values. Like if you get two rapid books done using your silver coupons you paid $150 for $162 worth of grading, and before the price increase three fast passes and two 2-Day was worth about $100. So I recommend getting the membership where you'll use the coupons. Now that they've raised the price of 2-Days and fast passes, the bronze membership is actually a solid deal ($135 worth of stuff at member price for $100).

If you aren't going to use the coupons, the general book discount is the same for all levels so get the bronze because it's cheapest. If you aren't going to use the coupons and you aren't going to send enough books to make the membership worthwhile, don't get a membership. You don't need one to send books.
