On a water cooling setup on a computer, I know there is a back plate under tbe cpu on the motherboard. But is it possible to remove tbe CPU cooling unit without disassembling the entire computer? Apparently I am over heating and it leads me to believe the water cooling is clogged and not circulating correctly.

Question for those who collect signatures on a favorite item...and keep adding through the mail...do you ever reach the point you know fully well you shouldnt send the item out anymore due to possible loss, but then another signature or drawing tempts you...for instance like a star trek comic where you just keep adding signatures....and it has Spock and Bones and Mccoy and then you decide to send it for a mail in signing to William Shatner.....cause he is, well, you know ...William Shatner. That is a rhetorical situation of course.... I chose to send my tour jacket to one of the DCC all Stars and made the mistake of sending it while they were prepping for the trip to Mexico to shoot the swimsuit calendar. The support staff that normally sorts mail, was instead prepping for the trip and the mail room backed up for about a month at the Star which is cowboys headquarters, and has mail delivery for all the offices and areas on the 91 acre campus. I made the gamble becaue this girl is roomates with yet another All-Star and had the box been sorted in time, the girls appeared last weekend on Westlemania where the girl i sent things to could have had all the ALL stars, and most of the veterans retiring after this season all together to sign things. Today she notified me she finally got the package, and who knows what or where she will go with it. The campus at the Star is cowboys headquarters, but also has practice studios, gift shops, restaurants and banks and is like a small city. If you are a retired Dallas cheerleader needing work, they will find a spot for you at the Star...so she may just sign it all herself and send it back, or have some fun with it . The jacket has 53 signatures already , all from girls that cheered prior to 2000 including the director and the choreographer. I also sent along a hat signed by several players and a few of the girls, and a book . Inside the book I keep a stack of photos that are color shots of a few dozen girls including this girls roomate. In case the book goes to someone who is in the prints, or the chance presents itself. Now that my girl Maddie has the box, I am sure its safe, so the fun part will be who signs or if anyone other than Maddie signs. Maddie is herself perhaps the most popular to cheer in the last 20 or so years and a fan fave. Stay tuned... the book I sent, it has chapters for the DCC, Dallas mavs cheerleaders and even the Texas Kilgore rangerettes. A squad used USSO tour jacket, and simply rare and signed by a load of Dallas cheerleader legends. the hat, it was already signed by Herschel walker, barry switzer, Charles Haley and DCC Nicki Hale....Maddie had signed her first name on it so I asked her to use her full name and add her years she cheered as well. So if you can envision a girl who spent five years cheering and belongs to the all stars and hangs with mostly former squad members, walking around a 91 acre campus stacked with former DCC carrying this box of stuff, the potential is there for some fun ! Stay tuned....we will see if only Maddie signs or she shows of the stuff! |

What's weird is when a person walks up to a drive thru window. You never know what you'll get. I used to partake at McDonald's at obscene early hours before work and this one lady would be begging at the window. She was obviously mentally ill. I was friendly with the manager and they just asked her to be on her way. And she told me what was wrong with her. I decided to try and do something nice for her but didn't think things through. I got her a Walmart gift card thinking she could use it to buy necessities. It didn't dawn on me that there wasn't a Walmart close by. She thanked me regardless and offered me some plastic spoons as a thank you. I politely declined. Didn't really see her again after that. So no follow up.... Edit I got a buddy to buy the Walmart gift card for me. I don't shop at Walmart. |

This seems to be a cath all thread- so I thought i would ask here- What is the deal with the memeberships now? I haven't renewed in over a year and when I was just now going to I only saw a $200 option and no explanation of if they still give credits anymore. I tried to look at a couple other threads and it seems like there is some confusion on this topic. Do you still get the credits good for "up to (specific tier) x2"? |

@Enelson it looks like the membership just gets you the discounted prices now. I think that's clear. Confusion is about people who have an active membership but haven't used their coupons yet.

Not a question but didn't seem worth starting a new thread. I was going through my Uncanny box and found a color difference I hadn't noticed before. Unless the left one is faded, but I don't think it's faded. |
