Guidance Needed - Grader's Notes Won't Show Up for my Books16787

A while back I sent comics to get pressed and slabbed by CBCS. I got them back and I am happy with their work. But like some Canadians have mentioned on this forum, my grader's notes do not work. I contacted many people to try to get this resolved and I have received no answer from anyone. I understand they have a problem with Canadian orders being stuck in ShipToCanada but I need to know how to fix this. I sent more books to get graded and when they get back I want to sell some of those books. It looks bad to potential buyers if they can't find the book's grader's notes. Guidance needed please. Who do I contact and how? I love CBCS and this is the only minor hiccup I have had with them. I just want to know how others have resolved this and how I can quickly resolve this in the future (it has been a couple months since I got my books back). My order number: 21-19B9A0D There were 4 books. |

Grader's notes pop in once the order has been finalized or closed in the system, regardless of nationality.

Graders notes aren't typically an issue when selling slabs but can be, with some prospective buyers. This seems like a problem that CBCS should be made aware of and I think could be fixed easily. Caveat being that I know very little about tech issues. |

Good luck to anyone trying to resolve a problem through CBCS customer service. There have been people and mods on the boards helping to get more direct answers, thankfully. |

@ComicHoarder Thanks for pitching in. I personally tend to look up the certification code on the slab (CBCS or CGC). I agree that for a 9.8 book (for example) the grader's notes don't really matter, but as of right now my book wouldn't even show up online as being certified. This could be seen as fishy to someone who does not understand this whole situation I am in and that is what I want to avoid. I plan to send a lot more books to CBCS so I want to know how I can get this quickly resolved in the future when I receive newly slabbed books and hopefully long term this will no longer be a problem. I will try contacting customer service continually through email to start and see where that takes me. |

@Eclipse9665 What happens when you read the QR code on the back of the slab with a cell phone?

It's because when returned through CBCS Oakville, CBCS Dallas doesn't actually see when they were sent from Oakville or delivered to the cutomer so the notes don't get updated - similar to how Oakville receives our books but it takes another 8-12 weeks to make it to Dallas and into the system . I tend to have my books in hand before they move to "Shipped" status - they are still in "ShipToCanada" - there is a disconnect (at least on the customer interface -who knows about the internal tracking!!) QR won't work, code ## won't work - it all gets released at the same time. Sadly either DM's to moderators or e-mails and calls are the only option - and it will still take time. Like my parents used to say if I got sick...you can do nothing and it will get better in 7 days or you can go to the doctor and it will get better in a week...... |

Yeah, I just received my books back after 15-months and no Grader's Notes. I hope they finalize soon as I want to review the books to see if there are some that need resubmitting.
