I'd like to say I still turned out alright, but that would be a lie. flanders private msg quote post Address this user
I thought I would start this back up again but instead of having a weekly theme we could just share anything we've drawn, either recently or in the past.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you share.

Did you do both? I assume so - or course - but really love that second one (third image).

Glamor shot back when, off a postcard.

Still looks good but could could use a nice clean.

Huh.... they must have used a negative for the card, I never noticed until now.

I've recently got back into drawing. This year, I decided that I was going to do some drawing every day. Right now, I am working on a multi day piece that I'm kind of excited about. Since it is on a blank sketch cover, I'll make sure to post it here when I finish it.

For now, here are some pieces I did in the last couple months or so.

sterling, fine, nickel silvers, Cooper, onyx, and some velvet lining the container.

copper and nickel mokume billet. Its very similar to Damascus but done with non ferrous metals.

Sterling liner in the shot glass so that its functional. The bottom of the liner is domed to add a lil pizzaz.

Here are some recreations I did ages ago; some are still waiting to be completed and "collecting dust".

The Medieval Spawn (unfinished) is actually an inking of a pencil drawing I saw online. A few years later I was able to buy the OA for it.

These were "inked" it on my Wacom tablet. The Galactus drawing is a Ron Lim pencil drawing I saw online.

Some really nice illustration work in this thread.

I used to do a lot of art in the field of science fiction including commissions before moving more in the direction of writing. Here are some examples of both my painting and pen/ink work...

First FENCON program (oil painting titled You're Next)

Nucleus (acrylic original with digital retouch)

Nucleus detail (digitally reimagined)

Curiosity (pen/ink digitally enhanced with color tools)

Trust Me (pen/ink digitally enhanced with color tools)

and finally, a freehand pen sketch that I repurposed for New Years eve...

Great stuff Everyone!!!

Here is a couple covers I made for MEGABOOK M4 & M5 an anthology that I publish. I have allot of other stuff in my Comicartfans portfolio link, there are some more MEGABOOK chapter pages there that I inked over the fabulous Orlando Baez. I also do a ton of lettering for Seven Seas Entertainment, Arifureta, Arifureta Zero and Generation Witch.

There is a great sequence of chapter pages that tell a silent story in MEGABOOK. They are in ComicArtfans on this page.

This is one of them.

I think these were the first and second piece that I inked in my late discovery in life as an inker about 15 or so years ago. The first was inked in blue because that's all that I had when getting started. I think my quill pen was even rusty... haha now I'm all digital... Spawn was from some random detail I found. Lots more on my Comicart fans Ink gallery...

Here are some spray-paintings that I made a while ago. The tree was on a spec fiction magazine. Not sure why they picked that one.
