Toby McGuire was so good in those. Oh wait, wrong Raimi evil trilogy ...

Lol no definitely not that trilogy. They would have been better if they had more blood spewing screaming demons. “I’ll swallow your soul!”

Im really digging Bel Air. They keep the core of the original but with the modern dark gritty take. The characters dont feel like cartoon characters. Hilary isnt a ditz who's asking for money but a modern independent woman (with a vlog) who wants to be a top chef on her own, Carliton is still preppy but with a huge chip on his shoulder and is actually a ahole. Jazz is completely different. simular personality but not a complete idiot. sadly so far no house thrown

Jeffory isnt a butler but the house manager (I guess assistant who organizes the days, events, etc) and is jamican instead of english and seems to be equel with Uncle Phil as they are on a first name basis.

Aunt V is pretty much the same but more into the lifestyle then her original counterpart. Uncle Phil is still tough but deeply cares for will early on and takes on father figure almost right away

Not sure, I was just wondering if you chose to watch that movie because of him. I went on a recent spree of watching Benedict Cumberbatch films.

The Imitation Game was fantastic I thought.

Drive - 1997
Crying Freeman - 1995
Fist of the North Star - 1995 (the anime was much better)

EDIT...

"Drive"... was boring and stupid. Too much of that Jackie Chan bullshit.
"Crying Freeman"... I enjoyed both live and anime versions.
"FotNS"... I enjoyed both live and anime, but for the live version to be comparable would have cost a huge amount of $$$.

I'm not enjoying Peace Maker as much as I did at the start. It came out of the gate much stronger than previous DC series, but the entertainment value seems to have leveled off as the plot becomes more complicated.

I was behind in my Marvel viewing, so I caught up and watched several of the Marvel movies and shows on Disney+ over the past few months.

Falcon and Winter Soldier: meh, extremely average. I'll give it a C grade. Best part for me was the Sharon Carter guest appearances. How about a Sharon Carter series? I'd watch that.

Loki: Loved it. I'll give it an A grade. Let's have a season two, please.

Hawkeye: good and enjoyable. Never read the comics with Kate Bishop, but liked the show and she was a good character. I really feel for her. Imagine coming home and your mom is engaged to Lalo from Better Call Saul. I'll give it a B grade. Best part was Yelena Belova showing up. Yes, I'll take a Yelena series.

Black Widow: enjoyed this one as well. I'll give it a B grade as well. Yelena and the Red Guardian were great and added some great comic relief.

Shang-Chi: liked this movie more than I thought I would. I had some low expectations which were greatly exceeded. I'll give this a B+ grade. Having Awkwafina in the movie surely helped. I've liked all the movies I've seen here in. And always enjoy seeing Wong make a cameo appearance. I'll watch a sequel.

I think you're on point pretty much with me, except I'd up FaTW to a B- and BW to a B+ (mostly for Red Guardian who I thought made the movie zero-sum with the SEVERAL disrepsectful minuses with what they did for TaskMaster's character, total BS...) but overall B+

I think all the series deserve new seasons if only because it's so difficult to get into rhythm with just 8 episodes. Loki definitely!

I've been watching The Nevers on HBO. If I had known that it was created by Joss Whedon I would have checked it out sooner...his work tends to pleasantly surprise. Best I can describe it is a Victorian Era/Steampunk version of X-men or New Mutants. I'm guessing it probably comes from a comic book that I never knew about?

@EbayMafia I believe it’s a Whedon original idea. He has been removed from the project since, though. Joss has essentially been canceled.

? with or without good reason?

I heard he was by some of the actors thought of as really terrible to work with as a director (from various articles from "justice league" talking about his vs. Snyder cut) but would that get him cancelled?

I'm a huge Firefly fan and (closeted) Buffy & Angel fan ( i guess I'm out now though) but I don't know much about him personally other than his comic book background and etc. and I don't know why he'd be cancelled for that regardless of whether or not you like his story arcs ...
