What Are You Watching?: Part II16640

Halfway into ‘Being The Ricardos’ on Prime. Great (so far) if you’re a fan of Sorkin’s style.

I was hesitant about Kidman as Lucille Ball, but she is great in the role. Bardem, is a little less convincing as Desi Arnaz. Just my two cents.

Struggling to stay awake last night watching Hawkeye. I have just episode 6 left to finish it off. I have fallen asleep twice now trying to watch it.

I watched the original Planet of the Apes earlier last night with the surround sound on. Love the Jerry Goldsmith music in it. I must have seen it about 20 times over the years. Fyi. All the original movies are on HBO until the end of this month. It is hard to believe that these movies ended up with a G rating. You have partial nudity, killings, and torture.

@flanders the coffee shop scene with the owner was satisfying to watch “Oh you thought I did that for blah blah. No I did it because of blah blah”

Also if you guys like to watch murder docuseries, then watch “Don’t f#&k With Cats”.

Just started watching season 1 of Doom Patrol. It's not bad and I like it so far.
I have never read the books and don't know much about the characters so it's all new to me

Star trek prodigy.

Yes, it is a child's show, but for some reason it resonates with me. Or I could just be thrilled I know someone willing to share their subscription for free.....

@Davethebrave I really liked ‘Nobody’.

From what I remember, Bob Odenkirk got the idea for the movie when he trapped some people in his basement who were trying to rob his house. He was really upset by how law enforcement responded to the situation. His idea was, “how would I have handled this situation if I were a badass?”

@00slim it was a great movie. Clearly heavily John Wick influenced (obvious from both movie and key personnel) but different enough to hold its own.

9/10

I like a smart 'sitcom' and i really enjoyed The Good Place, it's actors, etc. and unlike a lot of shows it ended really well.

I finished watching episode 4 of Raised by Wolves on HBO Max. I couldn't decide whether I liked the show, loved it, or hated it until the end of the 4th episode. I definitely don't recommend it.
