Been watching Bosch. Not the dishwasher (though ours is German too).

Only 8 or 9 episodes in. Great show.

Just got through watching the latest season of law and order on peacock. Man it went downhill with the new cast. The burn notice guy is annoying. The new prosecution team is pathetic and can't act.

I miss Mccoy and even batman Bruce Wayne's dad on batman begins over the sad people they have on now.

I finished The Queen's Gambit last night. It was good but I have mixed feelings about the ending. I sort of expected it to be more of a downer.

Crank up the volume. An awesome drive, and some very nice scenery as well.

Finally going to see ‘Spider-Man: No Way Hone’ tomorrow.

I have the day off & I’ve been waiting for the crowd to die down before going to the theater. Really stoked.

@Pre_Coder love a V8 rumble.

Some irony because it’s an engine I don’t have.

Yeah,.. me to, Bro. And it's an engine many of us are going to miss sometime in the near future as we are becoming a computerized electric world.

Started watching season 1 of The Guardians of Justice on Netflix last night.
It's kind of a superhero parody of Justice League. I actually like it

@Pre_Coder was hoping to go all-electric on our next family hauler. Not a Tesla (or Ford) and not yet released… will see how the timing works.

As progress marches forward we definitely lose even as we gain. Half my cars are manual, one doesn’t have ABS and another no power steering. Our “new” car is 10 years old. I prefer simpler, very direct connections to the road for the joy of driving. But time marches forward for me too… and a few things are pushing me towards the polar opposite as our next purchase.

Would be the first new car I’ve ever bought too. I shudder at the thought.

For old school joy of driving (and a real thriller to watch too):

New things -- I will check out The Guardians of Justice, thanks @MutantMania

"Discovery of Witches" -- Midway through Season 2 and really like it for some odd reason. Maybe it's the period stuff in season 2, maybe it's the pacing, I don't know but I like it.

"From" - very Dean Koontzy-Stephen Kingy, so far hasn't insulted my intelligence too much with logic holes

Then there was this ... dross. I cannot remember the name (Heloise? Arabelle? Allison? Alibaba? whatever, doesn't matter) but it's the new DC girly-superpower show from some unknown comic series from 2019, it's pretty much garbage. Could not BE more "woke", from her "parents" to every character, every scene is bereft of white people and they throw LGBT into everything now for no reason so there's that. And its a crap plot, too. 3 episodes in and I'm already wondering why. Life's too short.

The Patrick Duffy show from the 70's ? LOL ... wow man I remember that. I thought it was weird then, and my memory keeps flashing on his webbed fingers and toes and the repeated scenes of him swimming in that weird undulating manner like a ... seal or something. LOL!
I also remember some bearded villain always after him ... a scientist or something ... I think it was the same actor that played an evil scientist villain on "The Wild Wild West" ... brain is not what it used to be but I can remember as a kid saying "Hey that's the same guy from Wild Wild West" and coming to the realization that people could move from show to show ... Cathartic moments LOL

Watched ‘Free Guy’ last night since it was streaming (I think it’s on Disney+ & HBO MAX).

It was decent. Just felt overlong & it got just a bit too sappy near the end. Overall, a fun one-time watch. 6/10.

@xkonk Love Bosch. It only gets better. I’m a season or 2 behind, though.

Love that the lead actor, Titus Welliver is one of us. He’s a hardcore Sideshow Toy collector.

Watched star trek discovery. I thought the interaction between the new species and the crew was interesting in that universal translators didn't work and they had to find common ground to communicate. I wonder if that's how it will be when we actually do encounter a new life form and try to communicate....
