Has anyone else noticed ink on their comic boards? I recently started re-bagging my books in mylars and noticed on old boards an outlining of ink. Does anyone know if this is normal or not? I keep my books in my living room and before that, in my room. I’ve never kept them in a basement or attic  |

| That's happened with me as well. I'm not sure if its ink transfer or rub marks from the book sliding in the bag. Backing boards are easily marked. |

| Yep - fairly normal - was it called Marvel Rubbing?? Think is was mostly Marvel - your books likely have some rubbing on them as well - those don't look too bad though  |

| Yep, pretty common. I've pulled out quite a few old comics and seen the entire back cover imprinted on the board. |

| As mentioned the ink rub and transfer is common. Those cheapy backing have an acid free coating that is rubbing the inks. The EGerber halfbacks and fullbacks are buffered throughout instead having one side coated. and have yet to the rub/transfer. My $0.02 |
