Above where I posted the pictures one shows the garmet tag....Small, in a women's . I couldnt fit inside it if I wanted. When I got it the zipper was also not working and I spent hours fixing it until I got it zipped. Now it sits around the display case, with a cardboard holder to keep it opened out...although I am heavily considering getting a jersey frame and pinning it down inside that

It is this group who appear at paid appearances and higher dollar events. They are veterans with years of experience and who know the ropes. I need to run the list again, but I have a feeling the ALL stars this year are all five year girls . Adding them to the jacket will be a plus ten, with girls who all are no longer contracted by the squad and can sign their full names on non DCC licensed articles, although I have a guess the jacket might be deemed an exception. (As the squad originally sold it) I know that I am looking forward to if madeline can line up Alexis Peterson, Cici,Brianna, Savannah, Khalyn, Stephanie, Amy, Danielle etc. I printed a stack of 8 x 10s of those girls to go along with the jacket and a book I am sending for signatures in case any magially appear.! |

My Gold Key Star Trek#1. My dad gave it to me for my birthday and he's gone now. It was the only comic he ever gave me. I'll probably pass it down to my kids eventually.

This is a tough call, but the one that immediately comes to mind is the Alex Schomburg recreation of Marvel Mystery Comics #66 cover from which one of the three Buccaneer Press ltd ed. lithographic prints originated...![]() Imaged by HA, who are much better at wielding cameras under high temperature conditions! ![]() ![]() . |

Okay, my wife's aunt is Justice O'Connor. I have known my wife since we were kids, our families were friends, so I grew up around my wife's aunt and her family. A few years ago, my mother-in-law (the sister of Sandra) was killed. We started going through her home to clean out some boxes. I gathered a box of books to take to a used bookstore. At the bookstore, I was just about to go inside with the box when I noticed the above book (first photo) Frankly, although I love legal history and am an attorney licensed to practice before the Supreme Court, I was not interested in reading the book. However, I asked myself, how the heck did my mother-in-law get that volume? I opened it up and a post it note said simply "J O'Connor". So I opened up the next page and .... Wow. All the justices had signed. You can see a fingerprint where Scalia smudged the ink. This was Sandra's copy and she gifted it to her sister. And I almost traded it for some used book credit. Instant family heirloom.![]() ![]() |

IF I have an alternate choice, it's this pair from Mister Miracle #14. ![]() ![]() As it is, I almost feel like changing my mind, but a little voice in my head (inspired by a comment left on CAF) wonders if Marvel would want to publish this battle as a pin up. I'd have to keep the art, of course. I'd probably also have to... you know... do something to make this happen, so... |

@Triplecdad, I don't know man, I see: Uiulisn A. Rotinquint Wahoo J Breuuan Jr. Byrm R. Whis Hingil Weulall Harry A. Blackmm Luigi T Powell Jr. John Paul Shmrs Sandra Day O'Connor Isbmm Scl I recognize your aunt, but the rest of those guys aren't on the Supreme Court. Seriously though, I guess for some reason I was expecting somewhat more legible handwriting from supreme court justices. This book was likely signed between July 1986 and November 1987. Obviously Sandra Day O'Connor was still the only woman on the bench. The list has got me looking up appointment dates, Scalia was appointed in June of 1986 and Powell was replaced by Kennedy towards the end of 1987. |

@Darkseid_of_town yes they were. And it was signed in the 15 months between when Scalia joined the court and Powell left. What's amazing is the single female name (also the only legible one, lol). Ronald Reagan appointed her in 1981, his first year in office. It was a truly historic moment...I was 11 at the time and for most of my teenage years Sandra Day O'Connor was probably the only name I knew from the Supreme Court.

Funny story: I grew up working on the Lazy B Ranch, the Day family homesteaded it in the 1880s. When Justice O'Connor was confirmed by the Senate, she was "hiding out" at the ranch. It is quite remote, even for Arizona. When confirmed, Time Magazine called the ranch and asked for a photo of her on a horse. I was the last cowboy on the roundup crew to ride in that day, so mine (it actually belonged to the ranch) was the only horse still saddled. Sandra climbed into the saddle and her brother went to get a camera. My gear and camera was in the bunkhouse, so I ran to get my camera, which I searched desperately for, but could not find. Finally found it, rushed back outside . . . just in time for her to dismount. Her brother sold that photo for several thousand dollars. I was a student, working for $25 a day (plus food and a bunk) to pay for college, really could have used that cash! Still find it frustrating that I missed that photo.
