Spider-Man: No Way Home - Who's excited?16465

Have I told you about the time I dropped off 3,000 comics at SDCC? Scifinator private msg quote post Address this user
I have seen some early reviews and I am thinking this may be one of the better MCU movies. As in, it is what it is supposed to be, a movie that delivers action packed entertainment with a thoughtful nod to the past and some well done storyline development. Seems that it may be missing some of the meaningless fill that recent MCU movies have thrown in.

I am excited to see it. Let's see if it can blow up the box office in the face of the omicron variant.

I haven't aired it out. It's part of the provenance. Galen130 private msg quote post Address this user
Me! Me! Me! I won’t see it in the theater though….I stopped doing that prior to 2020 because it got so expensive. I’ll wait to rent and watch on my home theater system. 👍🙂

Saw it last night and going again Sunday. It’s a love letter to everything Spider-Man is. I don’t see how any Spider-Man fan wouldn’t put it near the top of their Spider-Man movie list.

I've got family in town for the weekend, so it's on my list for Monday or Tuesday.

@KatKomics ha! No, I can't really invite my dad to town and then disappear. He has to have a reason to keep bringing presents!

I enjoyed it. Local theatre made these glasses for the event.

so excited to watch in a few hours. always been a huge spider-man fan. first comic I got into as a kid was spider-man when aunt got my a subscription to amazing spider-man in the early 90s (still have a few issues in my collection...sadly none are worth a fortune....checked plus even if they were not much and because as a kid never treated comics like gold so bad condition. scratches dings bent etc)

In general I like MCU movies and enjoy watching them in theaters and at home. However, there is almost always a part where I fall asleep, and when I wake up I don't feel like I missed much. I blame dark rooms and comfy seats as much as the overly long final battles. I did not fall asleep during No Way Home. That may not sound like a glowing endorsement, but it really is. Start to finish I enjoyed it. It was fun, and funny, solid story and full of some really good performances. I will likely watch it again when it hits the streaming services.

ended up not being able to see it. had a ticket, went to theater....only for some reason that amc was temporary closed (every other theater in my state and amc in general were open). any somewhat close theater was either sold out or in other direction. so will try and see it after christmas.

yeah refund was issued. ill wait when I can. will be busy friday to sunday. so likely new years eve weekend the earliest. didnt see new Venom in theaters and took me 2 weeks to see Eternals...so will wait

there were clues to it being closed. amc app didnt have ticket in account (assumed glitched as others said having same issue but no problem) at midnight said closet. assumed due to time. but got to theater with doors locked and a sign on door. just saying temporary closed. my guess someone tested positive and closed due till everyone tests negative
