Just got in from working out of town and a couple goodies were waiting for me. Here is a beauty from the @BrianGreensnips collection. Smooth transaction as always. I’ve wanted one of these for quite some time. And this Sideshow piece came in as well. I love 1:1 licensed replicas. They’re some of my favorite things to collect. And this one was too reasonably priced to pass up. |

Been shopping ebay DCC items...who remembers phone cards? Cover of the folder signed by Melissa Gonzalez, as well as Stacie Drew, the Dallas cheerleader who married country singer Tracy Lawrence for about 15 minutes it seemed. Okay then how about some playing cards...circa 19999... the redhead dead center is a kansas girl, now a famous Ballet teacher in Dallas...Megan Willsey. The dangerous curves belong to Kindly Myers, playboy model, and she is cosplaying a Dallas cheerleader. The shot bears an authentication from PSA, one of the premiere services in the country for verifying signatures. Finally how about some sealed 1981 playing cards? I buy the sets issued between 1978 and 1982 whenever I find them in good shape and fairly cheap.....they are only going up in price. |

I hear their hourly rate is outrageous! | sportshort private msg quote post Address this user
Just dropped off 10 books with CBCS at WonderCon in Anaheim. Yes, I’ve made peace with the near year turnaround time. While there, I purchased a few books at a good price. BTW, most comics where overpriced from fmv by a ton. I got his from Ron Lim himself, so he autographed it. Pleasant gentleman. I purchased this one in the hopes that Dreadstar would the the next breakout film star. (I know, not likely) This one was just because it was cool at a good price. The cover art is amazing, Batman's legs dripping swamp goo and the crazy demonic look on the horse is awesome. |

@sportshort looks like I missed you at wondercon. Picked these up while I was there. Very happy with the deals I made. I did drop a couple of books off at cgc to have some restoration removal. I'll post the results. The ff18 makes 5 copies, the best by far. |

@Batman66, I wouldn't have recognized you since most folks were wearing masks. I was glad that WonderCon was back and (as I figured) for the first time I can recall they were selling onsite tickets. Not selling out is probably due to fallout from the pandemic. I didn't miss the crush of people in the isles. I had a blast.

Got a replacement copy in today. My CGC copy has awful Newton rings while my new CBCS copy does not. Slight tradeoff, the CBCS book has appropriately small but apparent flaws while the CGC looks pristine on the front. |
