Just got this one yesterday. One of my favorite covers. ❤️

Have I told you about the time I dropped off 3,000 comics at SDCC? Scifinator private msg quote post Address this user
I just added these two pieces to my collection:

1st is an upgrade to the CBCS ASP 9.6 that I had and will now sell.

2nd is an upgrade to the cgc 9.8 that I had and will now sell.

I still need to replace these two with CBCS ASP 9.8's to complete my 12 Back run:

I am not a fan of obtrusive autographs, so I would love to replace this Cassaday with another Christopher autograph.

Of course this VCJ needs a CBCS encasement but also needs a JTC autograph for uniformity.

This came in today. Was pretty happy to find it in a lower grade and affordable.

SS #3, signed by Stan Lee. Headed off to CBCS tomorrow or Friday.

Case cracked, but finally after 1.5 years I get the book.

2 weird things, 1. the sketch is on the back. 2. The turtle has no bandana. Essentially a nudie turtle.. =)

The Turt’s have been bandana’less more often than not since IDW #100 @Bronte. Maybe that had some influence?

It is a great cover. Definitely a bit on the darker side of things.

No idea. I don't actually follow the books. However, looking at ebay, I saw 1 shredder remarque and the rest were all turtles that had a colored bandana that were done by this artist. So if I recall correctly there was 300 printed and quite a few were apparently damaged stated by admission by the comic company, that would make tbe book possibly rare?

Tmnt is one of my top 3 titles and I’m up on the story. With that being said, Last Ronin ties into it loosely at best. My post was a loose idea of some possible influence. Also, without spoilers, one doesn’t know which turtle the ronin is going into the series. Anytime they can portray a turtle and I don’t know which one it is is exciting for me. I think they blew the Last Ronin series by confirming the particular turtle at the end of issue one.

@HeinzDad

I actually read the first issue. They kinda had to tell you which turtle it was. I mean how do you avenge your family if you don't honor those who passed? Granted I stopped reading after issue 2 I think. (I got tired of waiting for the other books in the series to come out. Going to wait till it comes in trade paperback or something with all 5 stories)

I was hoping they would write it as each issue you would figure out a turtle that it WASN’T. The first half of issue one felt like it would lay out like that and boom, they just told us.

Long story short.... The “nude” turtle is sweet. It’s whatever one is the owners favorite.

Filling in the slabbed collection, key 9.8 for 50 bucks, can't pass that up.

Brother asked me not to sell my copies. He liked the remarque on the first and I'm sure the next copy will look the same....

Have a weakness for sexual innuendo Archie covers. Prefer the late 40’s early 50’s ones but this is fine DeCarlo (and Alison Flood) work.

Mostly drek, but collecting maximum carnage complete again and figured while I'm at it might as well bid on some other items the guy had up for auction. Ended up paying about 2 bucks a piece for each so I can't complain. Was surprised the ux239 was in as good of condition as it is.

vf/nm my ass. If anyone has a raw or even a graded copy they aren’t attached to drop me a line. I can’t work with two small tears on the back cover.

Top back towards the opening side of the book. If you are suggesting production grab tears it’s unlikely. I’ll check again as I didn’t think of this but I doubt it.
