| why not just accept CBCS like everywhere else got hit out of the blue. They will get you your books, you just gotta show a little patience. If it's for your PC, like me and your first time, like me, it's one of those times in life you just accept it for what it is. The only ones losing their minds are the ones that was hoping to cash in and try to make money off saling the books, unlike me. Relax, CBCS is doing the best they can under the strain of all the band wagon fortune hunters. Maybe not all but I promise, from what I've gotten from the other guys. I'll ride with CBCS. The whole loan thing even makes me a little red around the face. It is childish to me to try and use such attack on a company that I promise you understands completely what the customers are feeling and how many times must they apologize and try to explain? Just try to see things from thier perspective and take it for what it is. As a newbie i have asked a thousand questions cause i dont know the process. But im just personal collector and understand. My books will get back to me.chill and ride the ride. Just my 2 cents. | ||

| Not sure if this helps anybody, but my order from April of 12 comics, all Modern with pressing, just entered grading last week. Great to see some progress. Hopefully before Christmas, but who knows? | ||

| 1st time submitter here, I had posted earlier in the year one of these threads pretty frustrated with the lack of communication on the process like so many, finally got my ship notification. my order was a modern 25 book prescreen sent to CBCS 5/24/21 received acknowledgement and processing update 6/25/21 - this was the biggest issue waiting a month to find out they actually got and logged your books. Grading 12/9 Shipped 12/16 17/25 made my prescreen cut... So TAT was 206 days... I'm good with my investment and results here, but the experience has somewhat changed my perspective on getting books slabbed specifically what books to grade and what tier to submit.. |

| Question for anyone from CBCS or anyone that has an idea of what this could mean. I sent a submission directly to Dallas (Not the Canadian portal for this one). I Got an email today saying they have the books and they've moved them into the "Staging" queue....and in about 8 to 10 weeks will be marked as officially received. So that means the turn around time doesn't start until that email arrives? I would like some clarity because I know that the TAT starts to count down after it's received, but they received it's just not officially received. ... See my confusion Thanks RG |

| Does it really matter when the time starts ? It’s so arbitrary due to the inflated TAT now. Add two weeks , subtract two weeks , does not matter , you have no idea what the climate will be in 8-12 weeks ? That’s when the TAT ALWAYS change anyway any you have recourse regardless. So what does it matter when the time starts ? | ||

| Thanks for all the responses I wasn't complaining, I was just curious. Here's what the email said "Dear Valued CBCS Customer, This email is to notify you that your comic Order XX-XXXXXXX with 14 books has been received into our shipping department and placed into our staging queue. Depending on turn-times for your order service level, the comics will next move into our receiving input queue sometime in the next 8-10 weeks. At that time, you will receive another notification your books are officially received and we will begin the verification process of the books in your order. At that time you also will be able to see them in your CBCS account dashboard as well. We appreciate your patience as we work through our backlog and get to your comics as quickly as possible. If you have any questions, please let us know by responding with your order/invoice number to this email. Thank you. CBCS Customer Support " |

| Feb 6th order through CBCS with pressing - back in my arms today!! March is now in labels - but it is a pick up at Dallas for MCS - good by crappy books!!!  Star Wars and What If are the only ones I didn't buy off the shelf - the SW#1 will be 6.0 max!! and is my 3rd? copy - best copy is in the May order April will have maybe 1/2 the books ship back to MCS and May is all mine - no updates on those! |

| Just to keep everyone updated. I got an email about some of my books a couple of days ago. I think this is a major improvement from not getting any kind of information from one end of the service to the other. I also saw an update that said the company is employing at least one local customer service representative. That's great, but I feel they will get overwhelmed very quickly with inquiries if the other end isn't corrected. That means using customer service to help open packages and more graders. Honestly, BIG IMPROVEMENT!!! Thanks for listening to the customers!! | ||

| The lack of updates after 3 months with my books has forced me to send my books to CGC. We just sent 25 today and will continue to do so in the future. Any hope CBCS can sort out the communication and provide updates? DO NOT Submit through Canada. I have 8 books that don't even show as received yet, 3 months after I sent them. |

| Received my 10 books today! I submitted through the Canadian office, shipped to Oakville May 22, 2021 and they signed for them May 26, 2021. And then I waited... Got an email Sept 23, 2021 that my 10 modern books were received and going to Pressing. On November 23, 2021 received an email that the books had been graded and moved to slabbing. Later on, my Dashboard said 'Ship To Canada'. Delivery attempted by FedEx on December 16, but I wasn't in and a signature is required (that's a good thing). Picked up by me from the FedEx depot December 17, 2021. All told, close to 7 months from the time I shipped them (31 weeks). No Fast Press, all books cleaned and pressed, so there it is. They were packed very well, and the grades were as expected. Would have liked to have the Saga of the Swamp 37 newsstand Canadian Price Variant in a 9.8, but a 9.4 ain't bad. |
