Hey everyone. I would like to ask you guys to share with me a bit of your widsom and knowledge concerning the grading process of the two books I'll describe bellow.

Moon Knight #2
I'll give you screenshot of the front and back cover, my description of the defects (correct me where I'm wrong, please) and also a more closer photos of the defects themselves. Would like to know estimate grading. I'll grade it as 9,6 but if I grade it conservatevily I'll give it a 9,4.

1) Small amount (2) of dings. First - 0,0625", second - 0,125". They do not break color, yet they look more like a scratches.
2) A few (3) of very minor dings similary-looking to ones described in paragraph #1. First and second ones - 0,125" and third - 0,0625".
3) Slight spine stress line in the middle of the back cover spine with the size of 1/32 of an inch. White substrata visible.
4) A small spine stress line near upper staple of the back cover. Do not break color, size around 0,125" The one I marked on photo as #4 seemed like #5 (the one I listed is actually a little bellow the marked one near Gwen Spidey face).

If you find any other nuances that might affect grade feel free to share em' with me. I'm kinda new to the hobby.

Moon Knight #3

As you might see on a second screenshot you can see the first page of the book showing up under the cover. That seems to me pretty much like printing defect. How you would think this affect the grade of the book? How should I name such a defect in description of my grader notes?

Thank you for your help!

If the viagra is working you should be well over a 9.8. xkonk private msg quote post Address this user
Your rundown for #2 sounds pretty good to me. I would agree with the 9.4/9.6. For #3, looks like a small miscut/misalignment of the cover. You'd have to measure it to tell if it's a miscut; the size will be a bit off. But neither one should affect the grade besides keeping the book from being a 9.9/10.

would be nice to have a snugger fit. Sigur_Ros private msg quote post Address this user
FYI that #2 is easily found at cover price if you want a better copy.

@xkonk Ty for an answer! I kinda analysed the book myself and desided to give it a conservative 9.6

@Sigur_Ros Ty for an answer, but it is hard for me since I'm living in other country (Belarus) and it's already a big headache to get books there.
