Grading includes the “Labels” step which seems to be where the longest bottleneck is. You’re looking at something like 21-25 weeks from when the books were delivered to CBCS for completion |

It fluctuates over time and isn't quite the same for everybody. Or at least people notice changes in their status at different times. But I would make a guesstimate like this, assuming you have an order with the current ~22 week turnaround time: Submitted (physically received) to received (checked in on the customer side of the system), ~ 8 weeks Received (checked in) to graded, not a real 'phase'. Turnaround time starts when your order is physically received. Submitted (physically received) to graded, ~ 18 weeks. Graded to slabbed and shipped, ~ 4 weeks. These are all rough estimates. An order I just got back was graded quite a while ago and spent more like two months in the grading-to-shipping phase. The best thing to do is know what the overall TAT is and then sit tight and let them do their thing. Everyone wants to know where their books are, of course, but checking the boards and emailing customer service doesn't actually speed things up. There's a saying about a watched pot and boiling that comes to mind. |

“Guaranteed “ is laughable. It varies 100% of the time and then sitting in your house for 4-8 months before a 6-8 week TAT returns is no diff than submitting them now and waiting all that time, anyway. | ||

No thanks, I will just stick to buying already slabbed comics...works out better for me. Although I would be tempted to submit one day if the turnaround time gets much faster. Heck, with a 5 month or more waiting period anything could happen, I could be dead before they arrive! |
