We tried to put a sweater on one of our cats last winter and you would have thought we poured acid on him. He flipped around and was out if it in seconds.

@lpgasdude What's fun is putting a piece of scotch tape on the bottom of a couple of paws. Watch what happens.

@BrianGreensnips I put a bow tie around my cat's neck one time and he had fits that you'd swear only came with fever.

@BrianGreensnips Kirby must be a good cat to hold still for that! Doesn’t look very happy about it, though.

Since we are showing cat pictures, here are mine:

This one is Brian (my wife likes to call him Brain). He thinks he’s people.

Roxy is our only female.

Felix is our youngest.

Taxi is not particularly fond of being photographed, but does like going outside. (All of our cats are indoor/ outdoor.)

We have a new addition to our family. Meet Betty. She is 6 weeks old. She is so adorable, playful, and very fast. We are going to go slow with introducing her to Kirby.

Good looking critter, @OGJackster. Thanks for sharing.

I became a permanent cat-daddy myself when my wife rescued our first tuxedo. This is Monkey. He got his name by day two because when we would pick him up, he would climb around our shoulders because he got spooked easily. He was found inside a vehicle engine compartment, so being skittish was no surprise. He’s five months old now, and he’s a spaz. 🤣

He also likes to drink the milk from my cereal.

@Galen130

Our other cat, Tigger, the orange one, was also recovered from an engine compartment at my office. we could hear him out there yelling off and on most of the day before we could pin down where he was. It's hard to believe now, 9 years later, how small he was then.

@OGJackster Loki must be so relaxed and trusting if he's showing you his tummy! That's fantastic. And he's doing it with dogs around. Y'all are awesome pet-parents.

@OGJackster If only my two cats would get along as well! Maisie is the new addition I took in when her Pet-Mama passed. Noodle is not used to sharing the spotlight yet. Here's hoping...

PS: Your dog's Black&Tan/blue merle mix is very pretty!

I know huh, I was gonna ask about trading some slabs for the kitten. That's the funny thing about pets. Take a trip to the shelter or find a stray on the street and suddenly you have something new in your life that can't be measured in dollars.

I have two rodent infestations in my home...Grimlock, and Ziva

Grimlock is the real pet, and expects constant attention and to be right wherever I go, at sleep or at my desk.
A co worker was taking an entire litter to helping hands Humane center and stopped to see if I happened to want one of them. All of the kittens were solid black, but Grimlock had some markings to him, and even better, as I went through the kittens giving each a moment or so to show me something, he pounced on my hand and play attacked. Choice made.

My other cat, is Ziva, whom I rescued from a shelter...she was around a year old and quite wild already. In fact she clawed my face when we were introduced and spent alot of time hissing. Her first six months here she lived behind my bathtub and only came out for meals and such. She and Grimlock seem to have a nodding acceptance although they hardly seem friends.

Grimlock examining some of his Tom and Jerry comics from a forum member.
Grimlock making sure I understand I wont be getting much done on the computer today

Ziva and her various discoveries...then resting using a dinosaur vert as a pillow
