| Just when I thought it couldn't happen [again], the comics industry makes the Silver and Bronze Age look even better. I'll stick with the Era of Entertainment instead of the Age of Agenda. And I say "agenda" because they announce it to the whole world. If they truly don't want this kind of thing to be a big deal, don't make it a big deal. Just do it without the fanfare. | Comics have gotten more graphic with sexuality...used to be in the old days there was just sexual tension between Batman & Catwoman and today they show panels where they are on the floor, on a rooftop or naked in bed doing the dirty, dirty! There is nothing left to the imagination anymore. It shouldn't be shocking to see gay characters who are depicted as sexual (kissing or more) these days. Straight or Gay, I prefer it all to be tastefully done. My only pet peeve is suddenly depicting established characters as Gay or Bi. | ||
