| More esoteric stuff... This one's kind of interesting... It's not in the CGC census as a 9.8 (or has even been slabbed for #2). But it HAS been slabbed here at CBCS once in 9.8, but no 9.8s for #2 so far. Given all the Valiant collectors/completists out there, this is kind of surprising. (When they are grouped in bags like these, they are in packs of 10 usually, occasionally twenty.)  The regular Mortal Kombat cover is actually more popular than the variant, probably due to the iconic logo. (There have been a lot of Mortal Kombat movies out recently.) I actually didn't even know this comic existed or that Malibu published it. I recently came across Street Fighter II too.  I don't know if Joe Mad is ever going to finish this series or if he has or not. I just know that it was started many years ago and then I totally forgot about it. I think he went into video game design? and then I lost track of him...  |

I always hated the CCA Stamp placement on the cover of Spec Spidey #1 because so many copies look badly trimmed, even though that isn't the case. I was very happy when I found a HG copy with a great cut.       |
