| I do have an observation to share. I bought a copy of the Chambers of Chill #19 that was on sale. Looking over it, I'm mostly satisfied. The paper is semi glossy and feels a bit like wax paper. I went to Grand Comics Database and checked the stories and page count. Everything is fine. The book feels nice to hold and read. So, the actual physical part of the comic I do like very much. But while it is obviously not made to fool anybody, I would have liked to see the word "replica" on it. I actually marked my copy on the cover. My kids are probably going to get my comics and they know very little about them. I'd hate for them to think they had something valuable and then discover it wasn't. I'd like to ask why you don't add "replica" anywhere noticeable on the book? |

| @RRO thanks. Anyone who knows Golden or Silver age comic books won't be fooled for a second!! But not everybody has that knowledge. Plus, since there are always unscrupulous people out there looking to make a buck, I can see someone trying to sell it for an original. I just feel better having marked mine. | ||

WOW!! Just got these two covers in the mail today, and they are AMAZING! Bright colours, nice paper, and size is great. I just have to dig up the two coverless G.A. books that go with these and I can finally stop hiding them in the 'eyesore' section! Also got a complete Suspense Comics #5 and it is GORGEOUS (Thank you, Sebastion!!!). Prices are very reasonable for the quality, and since I prefer to hold my comics in my grimy hands rather than flip through them on a screen, I may be picking up a few more. |
