| Does this mean I will be able to grab Immortal Hulk 1 on the cheap or are my Bennett covers going to sky rocket? As to the question of why Marvel “didn’t see it sooner”; they have no obligation to tell an artist what they can and cannot do on their free time. maybe they didn’t care and are now saving face. The “hidden” anti Semitic imagery in marvel comics could be chalked up to coincidence or ignorance. Im not defending Bennett in any way, but (I have no idea how comic creator payroll works) there may have been contractual nuances at play. The more recent events with Bennett I’m sure were the last straw and I’m glad they canned him. |

| Ahhh..yes...this guy. This article reminded me now about the whole ' I failed to understand this troubling and offensive stereotype, and after listening to you all, I now understand my mistake.' when he used the star of david. I'm not sure what they teach in Brazil but guy is in his 50's....hard to imagine you could be in any modern country and not know the relevance I'll be honest - I think I've only seen his Immortal Hulk work and I completely missed everything until it was pointed out - guessing that's what he was betting on - hide things where people don't notice. Glad he's gone |
