Watching CIN vs PIT and have CHI vs CLE on standby during commercials. Ben looks old today. PIT's TD drive was good for him but he looks uncomfortable today which is weird. He's tormented us for years and it looks like he is getting close to the end. PIT's D is lacking that fire that Watt brings. Bengals' D is aggressive today and starting to look like what we were spoiled with under previous D coordinators. Should be a good second half. As a Bengals fan, I'm always expecting the meltdown to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

What a way to lose. Still a great effort by the Lions. They made great strides on defense today. If you don’t follow Detroit you may not have heard the news that the Lions benched LB Jamie Collins and will be trading him. This put the whole defense on alert and gave the younger guys a chance to show what they can do. This looks like a stroke of genius and I applaud the coaching staff for proactively fixing obvious problems. I think we will actually win some games this year!

When the Vikings are firing on all 8 cylinders, I LOVE watching them!!! No complaints from me this week!! And I knew Mattison would pick up the slack from Cook being out. I even started him on one of my fantasy teams. Honestly, he could be the number one RB for a bunch of teams!! The Vikes are fortunate to have two excellent running backs.

@michaelekrupp I like Dan Campbell and would love for him to be the one to turn around the Lions but I don't trust their management to give him enough support to do so. Being a Bengals fan, I know a dysfunctional organization when I see it and my hope is the Lions will build off those young pieces they have and turn into a good program.

@Studley_Dudley Actually, the Lions are now on their fourth member of the Ford family making decisions. For decades it was William Clay Ford, who was a good old boy who cared more about surrounding himself with sycophants than wins and losses. Before his passing he allowed his son to make some decisions, which led to the dark days that we Lions fans don’t like to talk about. Ford Jr. is now running the car company 🤨. After Mr. Ford’s passing, Mrs. Ford took over. She seemed to care about bringing a winner to Detroit but just didn’t get it right. Now her daughter is running the team, and she seems both committed and serious about building a winner. I hope she can succeed where her other family members failed. So far she hasn’t given me a reason to believe it’s SOL (same old Lions). We’ll see.
