Hello,

Is it possible to have this graded by CBCS?

Of course it can!👍🏻

COMICS WE GRADE

CBCS grades mainstream comic books that will fit into our holder. The maximum size is 7.625" x 10.5" and .24" thick.

There may be exceptions for comics that are unusually heavy, even though they may fit into the size parameters. These are determined on a case-by-case basis.”

Nice. Thank you. I wasn't sure with it being a limited edition by 2500 copies if it was possible.

If the viagra is working you should be well over a 9.8. xkonk private msg quote post Address this user
The print run doesn't matter so much as the publisher (and size, and content). They won't grade 'underground' comics, for example.

I would keep your COA though. You may not get it back if you submit with that included.

Looks like you have a really nice copy there. Lots of them were damaged on the left front center and top center edges due to printing issues...

I would also check the back cover for potential pressing before sending in, this book was notorious for having spine dings on the back cover.

I've sent a number of books with COAs to CBCS and always had them sent back to me. I did it that way if the COA was inside a sealed polybag along with the book because I wanted the label to show that the polybag was opened at CBCS. I believe it's That Other Guy who is extra notorious for throwing out anything that may come with a comic that isn't solely the comic itself. Of course, if the book isn't in a sealed bag, why take the chance? If the bag isn't sealed, I'd hold onto the COA, too.

All good advice. It's not in the poly bag, so I was hesitant about sending the COA with the book.

If the COA isn't inside a sealed bag with the book, I'd definitely hold onto it. No reason to tempt fate.

I took 2 copies of this book to planet comicon in KC last month. Both were sealed in the poly with COA. The CBCS person there advised me to remove them and keep the COA because I would likely not get it back. Everyone's experience is different though. Do what you feel is best.

Wow! That's the first time I ever heard that from CBCS. Like you say, everyone's experience is different. I wonder, could it have anything to do with being a con submission? I've only used mail-in.

I'm going to hold on to the COA and then include it in the bag when the slab returns.

Can I just say that the amount of awesome responses received here is one of the reasons I'm switching from CGC to CBCS. I grade Pokemon with CGC, but CBCS has my comic business. I posted this same question on CGC forums and received just 1 response. So thank you CBCS peeps for being awesome.

It might be. He also didn't want me to give him a check at drop off. He said it's too difficult to keep track of what $ goes with each submission, so that may be the reason.

Take it from someone who had some Pam Anderson authentication done through beckett reently another coa isn't worth the paper it's on. Beckett is the best for a reason.
