| Hard to work with- Price is the price. I was doing a MASSIVE order and asked for any discount and they refused- I haven’t been back since- Not to say that is the norm but it’s my experience- |

| @EbayMafia it is- and it is enough for me not to go back. It was a $3000 order- each book $39. First appearance cover of a character. That was 07/20 and I’ve placed zero orders since- plenty of orders before that as well- They said they don’t discount their exclusive store comics… (wouldn’t that be the ones you are most able to discount)?… ummmm ok |

| @flanders yes it is Silver Surfer Black #5 by Skan (cover)- first Void Knight on cover- The image is my book (had a little marker get on the back cover made it 9.4 - other book wasn’t dry before it) - also have it 9.8 signed by Cates (CBCS)- and I have it blue label CGC 9.8 as well-  |

But ok- They could all go down tomorrow to 20 bucks FMV and I’ve lost half my money- So yeah I’m gonna buy a stack of books you can’t move that fast- yeah scratch your back scratch mine back in return- Almost every place that I make a $500 or $1000 or a $3000 purchase they usually give me a promo code or discount just saying- I don’t ask on little purchases- So I’m just saying they made an excuse (that was kinda lame) and it was dry and not inviting to make future purchases- I went thru with the purchase anyway- just never browsed their stuff anymore- if they are the last place to have something I really want I’ll prolly do that purchase- Just sharing my experience- really not bad just not friendly or accommodating from their side- |

| @HulkSmash and it’s no different than dealing with a car dealer asking for nicer floor mats or a roof rack or an extra 5% off- A 39.99 comic they got for less than $10- way less- so yeah- I don’t feel bad about asking for a discount on 75 copies- |

| @EbayMafia let me maybe put it a better way- I ask for discount at shop A and shop B- shop B gives me the discount - A doesn’t- I’m motivated more to shop at shop B in the future (instance here)- that’s me- I get to spend my notes where I choose- Not telling anyone not to shop there- honestly just the existence of these posts have increased their sales I bet- - all good- just giving my experience is all- I have lots of shop B’s that seems like they care way more. Just my opinion. |
