I dropped off 10 books for re-holdering from Red Label/old slabs to Yellow Label/new slabs at Baltimore comicon. Baltimore ended Oct 24th. Books are already being shipped with a FEDEX tracking. That's less than 1 month. I'm pretty darn happy with that turnaround of less than 1 month. |

Modern books received April 12th with fast press but normal grading time. With TAT changing so much I’m completely lost on when to expect my books. Any ideas/guesses?

Quote:Originally Posted by Slesko This is a good question and one I've wondered about myself. Is the published TAT to be expected at the point when the comic(s) are received or is it the published TAT later on that applies? Back in April when the comic was delivered I think Modern TAT was 16 weeks. Nov 22 it is now 25 weeks. So is one to expect the (roughly) 16 weeks or 25 weeks as of today? |

Assuming the TAT is up to date, that's what you should expect for grading. If you're pressing, you should assume the pressing TAT for when you submit and the grading TAT for whenever it gets out of pressing. That's my understanding.

@Nuffsaid111 Turnaround time 100% doesn't remain at the stated TAT when they received the books. I'm over 8 weeks past that with my current 2 subs. I have two modern subs they received on June 8. I don't remember the stated TAT at that time but I know it was increased to 17 weeks shortly after they received them. It was then increased to 22 weeks and a week or so ago it was increased to 25 weeks. These are both modern tier subs without pressing and have been at CBCS for 24 weeks and 1 day now. Ironically enough, I had only ever used CGC before, was paranoid about their increasing TAT and thought I'd give CBCS a shot. I had subbed a bunch of comics to have back in time for Eternals, What If?, Hawkeye and Cowboy Bebop which was obviously a mistake. |

@timberghost My quote was aimed at the person that asked for help. Got a reasonable response then asked them to repeat themselves for reasons I can't fathom. As for the second portion of my quote where that person won't be happy until they got their books back, I think I was just proved correct. If you feel that description fits you, so be it.... |
