21-11F72CB Order arrived April 6th with grading and pressing. Currently, I believe I am in week 31, so I guess I need to wait another 5 weeks to see any change.

Still no email answers.

sadly this is normal...the books won't show until the are received in Dallas - the Canadian site has been taking additional time to get to the US - think my last order was 12 weeks before showing up...so if we figure Dallas is 5ish weeks to receive that means it was about 7 weeks to get from Canada to Dallas? - now that was back in May - no idea what is happening now - the border has opened a little bit so maybe the CBCS Canada employee can get over easier now?? (1 guy who lives on the US side of the river!)

Yup! Yeah was on the same boat. My books were originally sent out end of November. And it was received in Dallas in December but sat for a few weeks and was not “received” until January. Almost going on one-year here to anyone who’s counting lol

That’s 17 books, 1 VSP, All pressed screened with approximately 15 pressed. (It’s what I gather from the current invoice)

It’s currently on “Ship to Canada” so here is hoping all is good and I receive them for Christmas time. Lol

Using the Canadian office, you can expect your books to arrive in Dallas about 6 weeks after delivery to the Oakville address. But based on the current issues, you probably won't see them shown as received for quite a while after that. If your tracking shows delivered, it's out of your hands at that point but they aren't MIA.

My books sat in Ship to Canada for about 6 weeks then showed up at my door without any email or tracking info.

@PhantomStranger271 If your submission was received 4/6, your estimated TAT should start on 4/8. So you will be at 28 weeks this Thursday the 21st. Pressing is 10 weeks for Consumer and 24 weeks for Modern and Expanded. Then you would add another 22 weeks for grading onto which ever press level you have. So you are still in hurry up and wait mode. But, on the bright side, you are ahead of all my press submissions!

I got email that my order containing comics in 2Day, Rapid and QS had gone into grading on October 13.
Today, Oct 19, I got a notice that they had all(2Day, Rapid, Quickstream) been graded and are headed "to be put in a case", as they stated.
So, only 1 week to get them all graded. There were only 9 comics on that invoice.

@Lloe01 - Not necessarily a week to grade 9 comics. Remember the notifications may not be timely. They may have entered grading some time ago before you even got the notifications.

Cheers and please share when you receive back.

So I may be making this up but I think that PSA did that when they basically had to stop taking any submissions at all over the summer as they were facing the prospect of some of their lower tiers possibly taking a year(s) to complete. I recall something like that when I was thinking of sending in some Garbage Pail Kids cards they mentioned they were starting to focus on the lower tiers at some point.

I saw someone on Facebook say that customer service told them 33 weeks, but who's to say.

They were received Oct 6. I turned them in to a comic dealer at Spa-Con the last weekend of Sept and they sent them to CBCS on Oct 1.

They have just emailed me that they have shipped them. I notice that they have given my comics’ grades and tracking says they should be here by Friday.

But, they did not include my Iron Man #1 (1964), which was part of the package I submitted. Seems to be lost in the bloody system somewhere! I’m pretty upset about this!

@Lloe01 You gave the book to a dealer? Sounds like there is a 3rd party involved here. Do you know if CBCS ever verified receipt of the Iron Man 1? Did the dealer give you documentation verifying that you gave him the book? If the books are submitted under his account, it seems to me that he is the one who should be in contact with CBCS.

@Lloe01 - Another aspect is that you had 3 tiers. While it is my understanding that they do not separate single submissions with multiple tiers, on occasion they may. Also, if there was a grade screen, that may be the reason, and lastly maybe the dealer used a separate submission for the Iron Man 1.

I did give it to the dealer, but had two copies of the invoice I previously filed on CBSC site, my account. He signed my copy and placed the other with the comics. CBSC used my card info from the prefile invoice.

CBSC has never acknowledged my Iron Man #1. But, customer support said they would note this on my account (two weeks ago) and it should be corrected when they grade the comics.

I checked the invoice I prefiled and which CBSC should have used and the Iron Man was there. I hope they catch it on the second batch of comics.

@Scifinator so I'm at 28 weeks tomorrow, out of about a total of 34(ish) weeks?

@PhantomStranger271 - if your submission was Consumer Tier with press which I am guessing from reading your posts, then your estimated TAT should be about 32 weeks, (10 wk for press + 22 wk for Grade). If any part of your order is Modern or expanded, then your total estimated TAT would be 46 weeks (24 wk press + 22 wk grade). If you had any VSP then add another 1-2 weeks.

@Scifinator So 5 of the 12 I sent are Modern age comics. Does that mean the entire order qualified as a 46-week time limit? What difference does Consumer mean? How do I tell?

@PhantomStranger271 - yes, if 5 are in the Standard Modern tier, you are likely going to be around the 46 week Combined press/grade TAT. Modern is post 1975 under $250 value. Expander is pre 1975 under $250 in value, and Consumer is any year up to $400 in value.

Books mailed in on Aug 13th, Received Aug 15th. Checked in today and moved to processing. So its about 9 weeks from receiving them to moving them to processing as a current timeline. I am happy to know my books are safe. I am gonna wait until after the New Year to send more in.

I sent in 30 books (a mix of bronze & moderns) that were delivered to CBCS on August 16th. That's 8 weeks ago today. Still not showing received. That should change within the next two weeks as Darryl told me they are running 8 to 10 weeks behind on "receiving". Getting there...

Update....
Just received email that this submission is "received".
That's 8 weeks and 5 days from date they were delivered.
Better than 10 weeks
Just 14 to 16 weeks to go before they show up on the front door step... Yay...

I also just got the email that my books have officially been "received" after about 9 weeks. So I'm ahead of the curve!! Huzzah! It's comforting to know they're safe and now I can at least forget about them for a while. I'm still not sure if I should be in the 17 week TAT range, which is what the estimate was when they were received, or if I'm not in the 22 week group. That difference will determine whether or not I need to make an address change.

Also, the dashboard is a bit screwed up as it has more books listed than I have in the submission, but the invoice is correct. Hopefully that doesn't cause an issue down the road. They really need to figure out a way to link the invoices, our dash, and their internal system together to avoid the extra data entry work and these types of errors.

@Supertom - You position (pending move/deployment) is the precarious zone that makes the longer TAT's particularly frustrating. That said, from what I believe, the 22 week estimated TAT with no pressing is what you should probably expect at this point. Who knows, maybe there is a miraculous catch-up or an accidental jump ahead of others, but the safest bet is the updated estimate.

I think a lot of collector's are still being duped by the turnaround info on this page. It would certainly help ongoing submissions if this was more accurate.
