21-11F72CB Order arrived April 6th with grading and pressing. Currently, I believe I am in week 31, so I guess I need to wait another 5 weeks to see any change. Still no email answers. |

Almost going on one-year here to anyone who’s counting lol That’s 17 books, 1 VSP, All pressed screened with approximately 15 pressed. (It’s what I gather from the current invoice) It’s currently on “Ship to Canada” so here is hoping all is good and I receive them for Christmas time. Lol |

But based on the current issues, you probably won't see them shown as received for quite a while after that. If your tracking shows delivered, it's out of your hands at that point but they aren't MIA. My books sat in Ship to Canada for about 6 weeks then showed up at my door without any email or tracking info. |

Have I told you about the time I dropped off 3,000 comics at SDCC? | Scifinator private msg quote post Address this user
@PhantomStranger271 If your submission was received 4/6, your estimated TAT should start on 4/8. So you will be at 28 weeks this Thursday the 21st. Pressing is 10 weeks for Consumer and 24 weeks for Modern and Expanded. Then you would add another 22 weeks for grading onto which ever press level you have. So you are still in hurry up and wait mode. But, on the bright side, you are ahead of all my press submissions!

I got email that my order containing comics in 2Day, Rapid and QS had gone into grading on October 13. Today, Oct 19, I got a notice that they had all(2Day, Rapid, Quickstream) been graded and are headed "to be put in a case", as they stated. So, only 1 week to get them all graded. There were only 9 comics on that invoice. |

@Lloe01 - Not necessarily a week to grade 9 comics. Remember the notifications may not be timely. They may have entered grading some time ago before you even got the notifications. Cheers and please share when you receive back. |

@Lloe01 You gave the book to a dealer? Sounds like there is a 3rd party involved here. Do you know if CBCS ever verified receipt of the Iron Man 1? Did the dealer give you documentation verifying that you gave him the book? If the books are submitted under his account, it seems to me that he is the one who should be in contact with CBCS.

@Lloe01 - Another aspect is that you had 3 tiers. While it is my understanding that they do not separate single submissions with multiple tiers, on occasion they may. Also, if there was a grade screen, that may be the reason, and lastly maybe the dealer used a separate submission for the Iron Man 1.

But, customer support said they would note this on my account (two weeks ago) and it should be corrected when they grade the comics. I checked the invoice I prefiled and which CBSC should have used and the Iron Man was there. I hope they catch it on the second batch of comics. |

@PhantomStranger271 - if your submission was Consumer Tier with press which I am guessing from reading your posts, then your estimated TAT should be about 32 weeks, (10 wk for press + 22 wk for Grade). If any part of your order is Modern or expanded, then your total estimated TAT would be 46 weeks (24 wk press + 22 wk grade). If you had any VSP then add another 1-2 weeks.

@Scifinator So 5 of the 12 I sent are Modern age comics. Does that mean the entire order qualified as a 46-week time limit? What difference does Consumer mean? How do I tell?

I sent in 30 books (a mix of bronze & moderns) that were delivered to CBCS on August 16th. That's 8 weeks ago today. Still not showing received. That should change within the next two weeks as Darryl told me they are running 8 to 10 weeks behind on "receiving". Getting there... Update.... Just received email that this submission is "received". That's 8 weeks and 5 days from date they were delivered. Better than 10 weeks Just 14 to 16 weeks to go before they show up on the front door step... Yay... |

I also just got the email that my books have officially been "received" after about 9 weeks. So I'm ahead of the curve!! Huzzah! It's comforting to know they're safe and now I can at least forget about them for a while. I'm still not sure if I should be in the 17 week TAT range, which is what the estimate was when they were received, or if I'm not in the 22 week group. That difference will determine whether or not I need to make an address change. Also, the dashboard is a bit screwed up as it has more books listed than I have in the submission, but the invoice is correct. Hopefully that doesn't cause an issue down the road. They really need to figure out a way to link the invoices, our dash, and their internal system together to avoid the extra data entry work and these types of errors. |
